I gank from time to time, but i dont make a single isk on it. All my isk is made in other ways. I lose isk because i buy my own ships.
So, how do you know how much ISK they make from ganking freighters?

Lets take a recent Kusion Gank as an example:
15 Talos, 10 Hounds and 2 Catalysts are on that kill.
A sinlge Talos with Max skills will do 6816 damage every 4 seconds.
A single Hound with Max skills will do 5704 damage every 6 seconds.
Catalysts do about 1114 damage with max skills every 2 seconds.
An ark with two bulkheads and max skills has around 450K HP total. Actually, 470, but for the killmails sake, lets lower it to 450K.
Concord arrives in 24 seconds, as we will assume it has been drawn away.
This is being very generous, but lets say everyone fires at the same time, even the drones of the talos. Resists will decrease the damage to about 70%. Again, very generous, it would actually be lower, because Kinetic and explosive resistance are higher, far higher than 30% With regards to shields, and Kinetic is only 20% for sheilds and over 30 for armor and hull.
AG shows up to assist. 3 medium T2, 1 large T2, and 1 large ancillary remote shield booster. Very cheap fits, easy to fly.
Guess how many people you need to stop the gank? 8 people. Thats it.
And this is assuming that everyone starts firing at the same time, which they didnt. And that everyone launches drones at the same time and attacks, which they didnt. And generously ignoring a huge chunk of resists.
For simplicities sake, weve calculated 8. Its completely doable with 7. So yes. A quarter.
So let me get this straight.

Yes, thats exactly what you should be doing. It should take 7 people to counter 28. It should take a certain level of effort from your side to protect your assets.

The only way that they can fire at the same time if you are talking about multi-boxers is if they are cheating with input control, but the one I checked from a corp mate that got ganked in a JF in Jita on the Perimeter gate was obviously not input broadcasting. The DPS of such a group can overwhelm the reps of the logi, it happens all the time in this game.

Yes you are trolling, the only way to get away is gank the bumper. And that is my entire problem with the current meta of freighter ganking. As I keep pointing out the gankers catch JF’s on the Perimeter gate without bumping, I want that to be the only approach to ganking and this ridiculous bumping method end and then I am fine with it. Nope, it was the blue out of alliance freighter list that CODE respected with the Goons, which I actually used when I was in the CFC a while back and which my friends are in. You can pretend all you want, but that is why when you can’t even admit to that, your entire posting is suspect.

My dear boy, you happen to be ganking the poorly tanked mining ships and you do that in regions that I do not operate in. I see a mere three freighters and an Orca on your kill board.
So the first point is that people who use anything other than a Skiff or Procurer in terms of exhumers or mining barges does not have any sympathy from me at all.
Second point is that there is no interest in me moving across regions to chase after such lame content, but if you were a couple of jumps away from me I might be tempted to blow you up.
In terms of freighter ganking as bumping is such a lame useless mechanic that makes it too easy and uninteresting I would rather watch paint dry then expose myself to such insipid and pathetic content.

I only care about your competition in as much that it indicates a desperation on your part. And am interested in the development of ganking as a whole. The reason I entered this thread above is when one of the posters here and I think it was you posted complete and utter rubbish about an AG player showing that you had no understanding of what he did and I picked that person up on it, it then developed from there with the normal edgy people doing their normal off-topic bait posting to which I replied as it can be fun.
I happen to read C&P, not as much as I used to because all the good content disappeared a long time ago, but I hope. I should point out that a lot of the time I refrain from posting as I see this part of the forums as being the domain of the more criminal element within Eve.
If you actually stop replying to me then I will go back to reading only. \o/
I’m asking cause you know in Eve, just like in life, actions tend to speak louder than words.
