As we already discussed, it is incredibly easy to avoid any loss at all not only the devastating ones. You don’t have to be a particularly good EVE player to avoid almost every risk in highsec. So what does that make the remaining minority who still complains about safety?
If you are not interested in investing any amount of brain while playing a game, then pick a game that is more suited to your recreational needs.
I would not call you stupid just because you don’t know how to MWD.

[problem is limiting your cargo to gank needs to be in the impossible negatives, because they will gank empty ships.
It is in the negatives. If they gank your empty ship they lose hundreds of millions, sometimes billions of ISK.
If you want it in the “impossible” negatives, well then you are playing the wrong game. Nowhere is suppose to be safe, and if someone is willing to pay the cost and suffer the consequences, that is working as intended.

Why is this thread still going? There’s been 1 bowhead in 2 months that has died from ganking that wasn’t shitfit and on autopilot. Nobody wants to gank a 650k tank ship that not only do you not know what’s inside, they’re a prick to bump if the pilots not retarded.
They’d pretty much never die if they have full tank and didn’t fly into Uedama with a gank fleet sitting there.
CODE. doesn’t have a blue list and minluv wouldn’t put him on theirs, you’re the idiot.
There’s like 1 or 2 guys with using a single Alpha each maybe. 95% of the characters in gank fleets are Omega, don’t talk out of your ass here.
Why would we spend hours every week moving ships around to kill them (time we can be ganking) when we can get better kills and way better traffic in our regular systems where we have stashes. This is ignoring the fact these incursion runners are all in the same channel and would stay docked after one of them loses a ship.
Not any one I’ve heard of, most people in CODE. would rather pvp, which unless you’ve been living under a rock is what we’re known for.

Those who suffer these devastating losses can only be characterized in 2 ways:
- Risk takers–these players love taking risks, so they anti-tank their freighter, they fill it will massive cargo value, they fly through ganking choke points without a scout let alone a webber, or
- they are ingorant and imprudent. They do not understand the game’s basic mechanics and realize the massive amounts of risk they are taking on.
As such there is not problem here. This “risk” does not and should not be “balanced” because one side is foolishly taking on too much risk and the other side is exploiting it.
There is no problem.
