If you’re talking about the New Order Treasury - the numbers and list of donors published at the upper left on James’ blog page - then I can confirm that the numbers and names are correct. They are not updated daily or per donation, but James does a regular roundup, usually as a separate or partial blog. Everyone who reads the blog can see the amounts and the donors, with their in-game character name and image. Feel free to pick a name and mail the player, who might be willing to provide you with a screen cap of the transaction. As to the outgoings, they are to the CODE. Alliance and other organisations and individuals, as per the SRP program currently in place.
The term ‘Fake News’ is a prudish way of saying ‘lies’, in the same way, perhaps, that ‘collateral damage’ is a prudish way of describing the unintentional or casual killing of innocent people and the destruction of their property, by nation states.
Some folks think that the Treasury figure presented on the blog is somehow James’ personal worth. It’s true, he alone controls the outgoings, and I suppose that, if he wanted to run off with the gold, he could do just that and nobody could stop him. But that possibility is known to donors in advance - and still doesn’t prevent them giving, any more than potential donors to a RL charity withhold their generosity on the basis that someone might grab it and do a runner (as we say in London, UK).
If you’re saying that the whole blog could be Fake News, then you’re welcome to your opinion. Although I’d have thought that you could if you wish mail the subjects, check ZKill, do all manner of things to inform yourself, and come to a decision which would remove the doubt for you.

This thread surely has some of the dumbest people in EVE here. Like hardly any proper fitted ones have died this year since it’s a 600k+ ehp ship that’s a prick to bump when the pilots not an idiot and you can’t see the ship fits so you could be spending 3bil to gank a ship worth less than that. The only reason a few tanked ones have even died lately is because I was sick of letting em fly past and felt like loading Talos to kill one and it was worth 29bil (so wanted to kill more). Miniluv ganks large targets constantly and they don’t even touch them.
The agers in here thinking they actually do anything is hilarious, I can’t even think of a single time ag has failed one of my ganks. You have all the tools available to actually do something effective, but the best you can think of is a Griffin with 1 ecm drone. Instead of working with the mechanics you’d rather cry to CCP to make hisec 100% safe so you can triple antitank your freighter and turn auto pilot on through uedama.
But some truth here in the sense that if the Bowhead pilot knows what he is doing they are possible to save, all you have to do is give him warp out points and if he knows what to do with his MWD and of course able to warp to a fleet member you have a very good chance of saving him. I got a 500m reward for saving one about a year ago and the Bowhead player did it perfectly.
Simple thing is that he reacted to the successful AG engagement I detailed above, and I can tell you he is lying because he has lost against AG, I have heard him raging on comms for a start.
So who is unreasonable? By the way not that I care whether you think I am reasonable or not when I replied in an amused way to the most triggered and mad player in the game.
Reducing yourself to the level you perceive him to be doesnt not make you better.
