What you describe here is the Idealized form of CODE. What they used to be (Roaming gangs of PVP Gankers).
In my experience since I have returned that is not the reality. Now what you have is High Sec Miners who Keep 3-4 Multi boxed Alts around, they mine in a belt and when a Miner shows up in there “Territory” they log off there miner, Attack the other High Sec Miner, and then IMMEDIATELY log off to prevent any retaliatory Strike. They they return to there alt to continue Mining.
I know they log off because I have attempted to Chase Code out of a dead end system only to find that there was no wormhole present and they were not in local in the next system within Moments of my being podded. They vanished. Ergo: They logged.
Concord and the faction police are the only ones who are likely to get a retaliatory strike. The game mechanics are so rigid that the ganker has no opportunity to float around in space while you plot your revenge.
IOW, they’re smart miners who use a sensible strategy to drive off competition and secure their mining income?
Also, if you know where all of their mining alts are why can’t you retaliate by ganking them?
Standards. Some of us have to have standards. Code cannot even enforce there own code with there own people. Its a joke.
I need to interject something here because its important. I think the original Concept of CODE was sound. I think something needs to be done about AFK miners/Gankers. I dont think it needs to be Human Players with a free license to bully. harass. and intimidate. Last Week i was in an Ice Belt in Null Sec, a Dread Carrier dropped on me wiped me out before i could React. I think something like that should happen in High Sec if a player stays stationary for too long.
