Coming back after 10 yrs, guide to key changes, role?

I played a lot of EVE 2008-2011, then only touched it once since.

I was a Null-sec player, and enjoyed the mix of squad and alliance PvP found there. Later being a pest around jump bridges and worm holes.

Coming back, is there a good guide somewhere as to what has changed? Or could you suggest a good starting role for an experienced noob?

I’d say read all the Dev blogs and check out the updates since then for starters.
