I want to comment that I find that the jump stargate and dock station function, don’t function.
I would say this feature doesn’t function about 60% of the time. I hit the button to jump or dock and once the ship comes to the structure, it just sits in space and does nothing.

You can interrupt the docking and jumping part of the command while in warp by giving other commands.
For example I often use Ctrl-space while in warp to intentionally cancel a jump command so I land at a gate without jumping, even though I initially gave the jump command to warp and jump that gate. It’s useful if you change your mind while in warp.
Maybe you accidentally interrupted the dock and jump commands?
Are you often playing right after downtime?
The first person to jump into a system gets a message like that as the system has to be initiated for you.
Try again a few seconds later!
It’s easy to accidentally cancel a queued command by issuing another if you don’t know the jump and dock commands can be interrupted.
I haven’t experienced this issue except when there are 25,000+ people online and I’m in a busy region of space.

Well, it does glitch sometimes, I’ve clicked Dock and done nothing else and then arrived at the station and stayed there (undocked) and had the same happen at a gate.
It is a thing.
You just have to remain attentive.
I.E. if you want to dock and go bio, be docked before you stand up, don’t just expect it to work.
I personally think the gate activation is slower than it used to be 3 years ago when I last played feel like I have to wait longer to jump through a gate it’s still pretty quick but it feels like it takes about 4 seconds longer or even longer than that sometimes not really a problem when I’m in a fleet but when I am flying by myself it’s like I’m on some low priority thing
