Comparing time / cost when researching blueprints in another system?

Hi,

Apologies if this is a frequent question.

Ingame I can fly out / drop a blueprint into a station, and see how long / how much it’s going to cost for the material / time upgrades.

Is there a way of then comparing to another system easily? Without going to each system directly?

And based on that I’d then potentially go and do the research elsewhere.

  1. select your blueprint

  2. place it in the industry window

  3. go in the “factilities” tab, select the required service and sort by index cost increasing, and select one

very good explainer!

what makes the difference is the System index SCC charges (in structures) and taxes.

if do research on mass, its maybe feasable to put up a pos in a system that has no other research facility, the index will be almost zero then,
we have one in a school system, far away from the newbies … system index 0.05% … that’s neat.

surcharge is added to the cost index
alpha surcharge is added to the cost index
owner tax is added to the cost index

so 4% surcharge, no alpha, 0.25% owner tax in a 1.0% cost index => 5.25 % job installation tax.

I knew there had to be a way, I was trying to click the Facility in the top right and getting nowhere.
