On Sunday 10 November there will be an extended downtime. The extended downtime is so that we can ‘switch’ out some network equipment.
Downtime will commence at the usual time of 11:00 UTC and is likely to finish at 12:00 UTC.
Any updates will be made in this thread.
11:01 UTC: Work has begun.
11:39 UTC: The physical swap is complete. We are moving on to verifying and testing that the work is complete.
11:44 UTC: Work is complete and Tranquility is back online!
Switch and bait. When will CCP release information on the health of their systems? At the moment, it seems that even a 90 years old geriatric IBM 8040 is better suited to run EVE than whatever CCP has running. With all the issues impacting gameplay and game availability, it’s high time that CCP gives players some insights on what is going on and how CCP addresses these issues.
I doubt its solely a hardware issue. The most problematic service has been in game chat and its not like AWS is running a bunch of NT 4 workstations in a warehouse.
But why on a Sunday? There’ll be more people online who will be affected, especially if something goes wrong. On top of that you will have more issues getting staff in the weekends as well.
Don’t listen to this scammer, he just wants to exploit you.
For 1 bil ISK I will give you an unresearched Venture Blueprint Original so you can build any amount of them wherever you please for free (using the ore you mine yourself).
Our Foreman is starting to demand answers why our HS ore supply quota keeps coming up short and I plan to tell him it is all due to all these Planned Extended Downtmes we’re seeing.
I had only asked for 1 tiny venture to compensate as all of our HS ore belongs to Nulsec projects.
Thank you for this advanced headsup. One-hour downtime is no biggie as far as this trumpet’s concerned.
You devs all do a fantastic job. Keep it up!
Thank you.
before 11/10 no network issues
after 11/10 frequent connection drops - get 3-5 minute of playtime. difficult/impossible to run dangerous missions. currently loading through BOS cloudflare, was any part of the network remapped? I have gone through all troubleshooting.
