CONCORD introduces the Dynamic Bounty System

What? You despise things without any significant unpredictability, EVE’s PvE has no significant unpredictability, clearly you despise EVE’s PvE. And yet you also say that it is “fine”.

I dont know who are talking about and how is this connected to DBS.

They claimed that DBS is CCP preventing them from having fun. The reality is that, if they genuinely feel that EVE’s PvE is fun and not just a means to an end, nothing about their fun has changed.

Guess you´ve never heard about escalations or officers.

I can not express how sad i feel after reading this.
Do you realize that your measurements of “fun” are only yours, right?

Escalation to more helpless NPC punching bags to slaughter? Don’t think that counts.

Do you realize that your measurements of “fun” are only yours, right?

No, I’m talking about their measurement of fun. By their actions they have demonstrated that they don’t find PvE fun. I acknowledge that someone could have low enough standards that EVE’s PvE is fun, but in that case they wouldn’t be claiming that DBS or ESS prevent them from having fun.

Yes, 10/10 is equal to Haven and officer spawn is equal to normal spawn, right.

Krabs are krabbing for isk. Please, stop acting like a child, it´s not fun to watch.

So we acknowledge that they are not krabbing for fun. Good.

I like shootin folk on Destiny 2. The act of capping mfs with a sniper or punchin em is good fun. So much so that I sometimes forget what quest Im on or to pick up a new bounty.

I wish that combat in EvE was fun like that.

It used to be, but CCP took it away. You would have fit into our corp like a hand in glove!

I’m not so sure it was a compliment?

Still, the fact remains…

The part you would have really liked is when a small corp of pvp players could afford to wd Goons. You missed a good time when you could still get a good fight outta Goons.

I agree, which is why I expect all the areas you’ve mentioned will get their turn being nerfed.

Incursions have already been nerf batted at least a couple of times in highsec, and given a boost in low/null to make the reward for running them in dangerous space significantly larger.
I know they are a common target but I think it needs some pretty granular information to actually say that they need further nerfing. (I’d possibly see VG’s being nerfed as they are easy to multibox enough of a fleet to basically solo run, and pay out pretty well, but would want to see Assaults slightly buffed alongside that, and I won’t mention the Ewar abominations that Scouts are now)

Ahm … sure it does. Instead of getting the ISK directly every 20 min on my account without interferance (except tax) I have to collect it (at least the reserve bank) or have to defend it and then have not the ISK but some bonds that I have to change to isk somehow … how is that not changeing ?
So instead of just grinding the ISK for activities I enjoy I have now to do pvp (either active or passiv), I have to travel somewhere to get the bonds changed to ISK have to travel back again … much time consumed on activities I do NOT like.
So by changeing the mechanics of the game my playstyle becomes obsolete. I adept by canceling subscribtion, as I did in blackout. I will NOT dock off, I will NOT rat, and definitly I will not pvp. End of case, just simple. Or in other words … I choose to deny you the pvp you want. I win.

How dare you? Destiny 2 is by far not as much fun as EVE! I tried Destiny 2 and guess what … I pressed F1 and got killed without shooting back … must have been terrible tick-lag or tidi !

And yes … every Ego-shooter is way more pvp then eve where F1 is most of the work you have to do in the so called “pvp”.

Well actually I mostly only do PvE in D2.

The point being combat in EvE of any kind is dull and unengaging.

I find evading PvP in EvE through ship choice, fit and knowledge of the area much more entertaining that what passes for naval combat. But I wouldnt be entertained by it if people werent trying to out think my solutions to being capped.

So you admit that you don’t enjoy the PvE itself and only do it to obtain ISK for the things you do enjoy.

Do you understand that no amount of your anecdotal testimonial evidence that this or that farmer does not enjoy PVE would prove that noone enjoys it?

Besides you just keep ignoring people stating they perceive reward as a meaningful part of the fun.

Fortunately “nobody enjoys it” is not my argument. Few people enjoy it, and the specific people I am saying this to do not.

Besides you just keep ignoring people stating they perceive reward as a meaningful part of the fun.

Just like I ignore people who insist that the earth is flat. I don’t care if someone is unable to grasp the concept that the reward for doing X is separate from X itself, they’re still wrong.

I can see why they’re trying this, but essentially if an alliance is a bit too efficient at locking down its region gates from invaders and rolls its wormholes, it’s effectively going to nerf its income by being too “good” at protecting its space?

That doesn’t feel right.

What have you made of the alliances having systems to insurance fraud dreads in or hold frig wars to increase the ratting index back up? Bit like a psuedo ADM. Without being specific, are the CSM confident CCP have a water tight design for avoiding abuse here?

And yet CCP removed the suspect status from the high class abyssals. Not buying it.
