Name one “Basilisk” (which is the coolest sounding of the logi ships imo) and use it exclusively to host meetings with external reps, preferably ones from remote locations
Algos
I was in that ship when I witnessed the assassination of Empress Jamyl. Back then, at the event, I could really feel the horror and despair of the Amarr, the loyalists fleet scrambling to stop the Drifters, the chaos that broke. The invaders strike was swift. The memory still burns brightly.
I’ve named my Algos “Silver Wings”. It is still intact and it wears a fancy SKIN, a symbol of my corp and collected memories over the years. It is amazing how most of us capsuleers gather all these memorable moments. History rich. Onward to more discoveries and adventures!
CYNABAL
It has every aspects of the hunter. Design to kill, this marvel piece of engineering is exploiting any edges of the New Eden technologies to sharpen the teeth of this killer. Fast moving and warping, agile, decent DPS, this ship once upon you will not let you stand a chance. King of the brawler in auto canons or kiter in howitzer, this ship is extremely versatile and can cover a excellent mix role of takler / killer. His only weakness is weak capacitor that can be easily neutralized.
As a pirate, this killing machine is best flown while I am wearing my teeth and bones necklace with my wars tattoos on the face. I can feel the power of the ship trough my hands while I am at the helm of it about to fall on a poor innocent. To kill it in cold blood, steal his loot and salvage his wreck. Cynabal pilot once, cynabal pilot for ever.
Thrasher.
As a symbol of the classics. It’s good when something new appears. But the classics are immortal.
Charon
A Charon would be an excellent ship to name a room after, for three reasons. Firstly, cargo space. Just as a Charon has ample cargo space, so does a meeting room have room for may people. Secondly, Charon was the name of a mythological ferry captain who took passengers to their ultimate destination, presumably as those in a meeting room are trying to get somewhere predetermined by fate. Thirdly, lessons learned. Just as I have learned much by deliberately losing over 17 billion in a single gank about the myriad ways in which the loss gets compounded by clever pirates, and consider myself better off because of it, so too are goals accomplished by listening and not protesting or feeling slighted because you are in a meeting and not on your computer playing EVE Online.
Vulture
You know this nagging feeling when you are stranded in a desert, a region devoid of anything, even life? You know that feeling of shadows sweeping overhead but you are too exhausted to look up from clicking a button? You know that feeling that you get when you lay on the ground, longing, craving for a droplet water, a droplet of content and something cackles next to you? Something scuttling next to you? Something starting to picking on your weak body? Yes, that are the Vultures. They are coming! They are here! They are here for YOU!
Tengu - As the Combat Air Group Commander for QCAT this well thought out and designed T-3 Cruiser has brought me to the pinnacle of my mission in EVE … Just as the design and engineering staff must have met hours unending to develop a true force of power I have used this weapon relentlessly to achieve what seldom do in EVE … Perfect 10’s with Agents, Corporations and soon the very Faction I hold dear - Minmatar … the very name Tengu brings to meetings the need for attained perfection, Good Luck TiffanyCLS Kirk - Capsuleer
CHIMERA
chimera is one of the most dramatic ship in eve,as a caldari carrier, she has a wonderful balance (on shape) and interesting history. maybe she isn’t a very useful pvp/pve ship, but, who cares?
she’s cooooool, that’s enough
Corax!Corax!Corax!
I like Corax.Because I’m new.The battleship is friendly and suitable for novice missions. He stayed with me through my rookie years.Although I’m still a beginner…I love EVE. It’s so real.A reward would be even better (
Onyx
The Onyx is a nice shield heavy interdictor.I like shield tank ships because most of them have more ehp than armor tanks and much faster navigation, which makes me feel safe.Onyx is a good tanking ship cuz she can survive and the attacking of supers. And the light rapid missile make her full-powered facing smaller ships.I also like the looking,Onyx is like a big flying bird with shield and it is unstoppable.
Charon
I have looked into all the freighters / industrials searching for the slowest one.
It reminds me of neverending meetings, but also off just going on. Grinding for Loyalty Points, collecting mats to make that one item you thought you needed to become better.
I like Gila most! It’s a very common ship among the universe. Whether it’s PVP or PVE . It’s property of defense and attack was outstanding ! you know, medium drone is the enemy of all the frigate and destoryer. During each event,I ofen drive my Gila wating for other in activity site, and i had killed so mach frigate. my favorite coating is YC117.I hope i could see it again!
stiletto
a really multifunctional ship, pvp can’t be without her, and because bubble can’t effect on it capsuliers also use it as a troopship.she’s light and fast with a shape of dragonfly, she’s really a beautiful and convenient ship.
Noctis
I struggled to gain a foothold anywhere in Eve early on, but that changed when I joined a WH corp. In Null, WHs were a source of roaming brigands, and I had only ever poked my head in one and noped right out of it in fear. I was ill-prepared to make ISK in WHs. However, what I could train into the fastest (and afford), was a Noctis. So that was my job… until I fell asleep at the tiller.
I was floating in the POS, waiting for the salvage call… and dozed off. I awoke suddenly and said “ready for salvage?” into comms. I was met with raucous laughter and informed that everyone was logging off. It wasn’t a glamorous first ship, but it found me a home.
Caldari Shuttle
Probably, this only makes sense thematically if you have four very small meeting rooms, you can then name after the shuttles of the four race. Why? While these shuttles represent a solid workhorse, used by players of all types, they also should have real names of their own instead of placeholders. Thus these room names will serve as a reminder to complete things and not leave unfinished or incomplete systems in the game.
Ikitursa.
My nomination is “Ikitursa”- retribution for a ship named something no one can pronounce.
Perhaps it was funny at one time. Perhaps beer in the office late one Friday was involved. I can imagine fellows in Iceland laughing merrily in to their cups about naming a ship Fleet Commanders would need to primary while also being impossible to pronounce. “Primary the Iki… the Ikitoo-ar-sa the… just shoot the… just shoot what’s broadcast. I can’t say that word. Shoot the Icky.” Retribution, karma, call it what you like- right back at you, CCP! “The meeting today is in the Iki… the Ikitoo-ar… it’s in the room no one can pronounce.”
Zealot
The Zealot is the first Tech II cruiser that I used for piracy after becoming more confident at solo PvPing in EVE. A decent damage dealer and tough when tanked, it became my main weapon of choice as a pirate. During summer 2005 when I was flying with Sniggerdly, I spent eleven weeks flying the Zealot on solo and small gang ops in Pure Blind, Fade, Deklein, Lonetrek, Placid, Verge Vendor, Solitude and Syndicate. Racking up more than 14,000,000 ISK in ransoms and loot drops – a monumental amount of ISK at the time – paved the way for my investment in ISS, and the formation of Veto, a pirate corporation that I ran for almost a decade until I came to CCP.
Proteus
This is my ship. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My ship is my best friend. I must master it as I master my life. My ship, without me, is useless. I must fly my ship true. I must shoot straighter than any enemy who is trying to kill me. I must shoot them before they shoot me. I will… My ship and myself know that what counts in this game is not the rounds we fire, the noise of our burst, nor the smoke we make. We will hit. My ship is human, even as I, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weakness, its strength, its parts, its accessories, its sights and its guns. I will keep my ship fitted and ready, even as I am clean and ready. We will become part of each other. My ship and myself are the defenders of my space. We are the masters of our enemy. We are the saviors of our structures. So be it, until victory is ours and there is no enemy left.
Probe
Nothing says “Duct Tape and Rust” like a Minmatar Probe. With a Probe Conference Room you know there will be uncomfortable hilarity and employees of “that sort” talking like Cartman from South Park. You know people will be saying “Is this your first time being probed?” You know people will be saying “That’s when they put this big metal hoop-a-joop up your butt” long past the time it was last funny. Named after the epitome of Minmatar ships, you know that the paint will have bubbles, the chairs will squeak, and that one must lift up on the door knob just so while twisting to get in to the room. It’s a speedy little rust bucket with infinite innuedos.
Arbitrator
Arbi is one of my liked ships. It’s not very popular though, but in my opinion it’s very nice and neat to navigate. I like its perfect shapes and colors, the “aristocratic” posture. You really feel that you are in command of the perfect engineering piece of Empire. In my opinion this ship is combining very well Ammar luxury and Gallente tech. Moreover, the name Arbitrator, in my concern, will be perfect for decision making room.
I would add Arbitrator is a ship for fun thoughtful game.
