Contest Submissions - Name Our Meeting Rooms – Round Two!

The Rattlesnake Room

I love the Rattlesnake too.
Let me explain why to you.
If you’ve got the isk,
it’ll lower the risk
of getting blown up when you do what you do.

Damnation

The Damnation was the first command ship I trained into and it will be the only command ship I fly. It has proven to me time and again the immense beating that it can take while still supporting the fight, and will often be the last ship alive due to its immensely thick armor. My ship, the Honey Badger, makes for an unlikely tackler that many opponents feel that they will slug off, but the second their three-digit damage in my shields drops to single-digit in armor, they quickly realize they that have made the wrong choice to have crossed me. It is a durable and tenacious ship fit for those of the same attitude, who are willing to stand their ground and make a statement.

Caracal

“Alpha clones - an opportunity for the cash-stripped pilot, running for 3 years in the 16-year history of the capsuleer. The Caracal is a relatively inexpensive and flexible missile ship I have used frequently. Although I owe the Condor success in PvP, much of my economy hinges on this cruiser. For a shield tanked missile ship, this is versatile, whether it be buffer or shield, close or long range, or a bane of frigates. This ship not only supports my wallet through bounty hunting pirates, but also is robust enough to delve into the depths of some of the most hostile areas known - Abyssal Deadspace. I’ve taken this ship into so many filaments and come out without even a scratch in my armor that I wouldn’t trust any other ship with this task, although that might be due to Caldari heritage and my Alpha Clone status.”

On a side note, the real life Caracal is a medium-sized, robust wild cat. EVE Online, to my knowledge, is not really a game of insane spikes of popularity, but rather one of developing a dedicated community, even if it’s relatively small. The name “Caracal” would be a great name, as it would remind the developers behind this game the need to be robust, adaptive, and supportive. And in the current time, with a game that’s lasted sixteen years, these three ideals are more important than ever, as there must be something we (the devs and players) must doing right to weather the test of time for so long.

Erebus
I think of calling the Titan of the Gallente `` Uroboros ‘’ to be the metaphor of eternal effort, eternal struggle and useless effort in an endless cycle.I joined the Gallente because organizing democratically is the best form of organization that I have seen and to make known that effectiveness I would like the titan to have the name already mentioned to give an image of the usefulness of democracy and show the strength of the Gallente Federation. My goal is to pilot the Gallante titan in a great war, to be the captain and be the most powerful of the army in which I have to participate.

Noctis
Like the scavenging / salvaging Jawa’s who like to yell Boot.ini hopefully this will help to remind CCP that they are fallible and will continue to concentrate on the small things, like Internet Spaceships.

Confessor
More of an interrogation closet than conference room (hook in ceiling and floor gradually sloping to drainage grate are warning signs), the Confessor Room is used exclusively for inquiries into potential CSM non-disclosure agreement violations.

As versatile as its tactical destroyer namesake, the Confessor Room can reconfigure from terrifying interrogation dungeon to sunny, upbeat CSM orientation nook by rolling up steel window shutters and switching from a single, high-intensity LED spotlight to warm, natural sunshine- depending on what the interrogation reveals and/or what optics demand. Supporting messaging efforts for offense, defense, or speedy retreat, the Confessor Room is a multipurpose venue mirroring its Tactical Destroyer namesake’s spirit.

Porpoise

The Porpoise is my Favorit baiting ship. With solid 4 midslots, the ability to do boost and a nice hulltank ( real men tank hull ) i pretend to be an easy target. I don´t Name my ship, so it´s Looking, like i may be a noob. Sadly “soon” my 4 th highslot ( a cyno ) won´t be possible, so ill have to stick my “backup” Closer to my bait. For me, the porpoise, has the porpoise, to do PvP. Even if i stay with some Friends in the belt, the Fitting will be the same.

Sin
Room to be used exclusively for Human Resources investigations and disciplinary hearings.

Like its Black Ops namesake’s ability to move faster when cloaked, the Human Resources activities supported by the Sin venue are best served by discretion and stealth. This windowless, sound-proofed chamber mirrors the Black Ops’ potential for opening portals of doom, with guilty parties never even suspecting their fate until it’s too late.

STABBER ROOM

The ship name, as well as its Dragon-like design suggest the following: speed, courage and daring. This room is for the fearless who are not afraid to speak their mind. As many pilots say: “there is no such thing as a stupid question”. If you don’t ask you won’t learn and as with life, IT and in-EVE gaming there is always something new to learn. An ideal room for training and/or conflict resolution.

Personally this is my favourite cruiser of any faction. She is quick, tough, affordable and has a formidable offence for her class. Excellent characteristics for a new player and/or employee. Re-fit her with an afterburner and watch her fly.

Leshak

Leshak Subclade of Veles Clade scattered the adaptation schema of reverse-time reclaimed adapation schema of 729 tactical troika classification vessel into the cladeflow without proving after Convocation of Triglav Outside the Struggle. Convocations of the Commune Troika have now-time pressure for dispersal to strategic troika. – partial translation of data included in recovered design schematics of the Leshak

A very new addition to the Battleship line of spacecraft, a very heavy and well-armed warship that is clearly the Collective’s frontline battleship, the Leshak has proven adaptable to capsuleer technology along with the other Triglavian ship designs recovered from Abyssal Deadspace.

The Leshak is capable of mounting Supratidal Entropic Disintegrators and an array of support weapons such as energy neutralizers and pulse weapons. The ship also makes use of drones and has a long-range remote repair capability.

Like the DemiGod it’s named after it’s surrounded by wolfs and other hunters…

Poitot
You might have to admit the mistake that meeting rooms should not bear ship but system names or introduce a ship named Poitot. But everyone this side of the EVE gate knows that the only named meeting room in a CCP HQ is (or should be) Poitot.

Brutix Navy Issue (BNI)

A group of campers had moved into the local lowsec space and set up shop on a commonly used pipe. They were active during my warzone patrol hours and frequently killed the new members we had taken in. I may have been outnumbered, out gunned, and jumping straight into the frying pan, but that is exactly what the Brutix Navy Issue excels at living through.
Jumping the gate after loading null, I came face to face with 8 Thrashers and a Keres. As gate cloak dropped and the thrashers opened fire, I returned volley for volley until the enemy started bringing more and larger ships. Activating the MJD, I made it away in 10% hull as new tackle landed on field.

Astero

I went wormhole exploring for the first time in an astero but wanted to be PVP fit just in case a bomber showed up. I scanned down an entrance, hacked a few sites and suddenly a Hound decloaked on top of me and proceeded to scram me. “He thinks he has this in the bag, mwahaha…” I stagger my dual reps and begin killing the him with my drones. The Hound dies pretty fast and the pod leaves before I can lock it “Victory, what a rush!”; “Let’s take a look at my lovely Hound loot.”; “Do I want the torpedo launchers or these other items? Hmm… it doesn’t all fit in my cargo.”; “If I jettison this other junk I can get all the loot. Oh, ■■■■ a Tengu!?” Lesson: after killing someone in a wormhole, get the hell out of there. Do NOT diliberate over their loot!

Nighthawk

When I first started playing back in 2006, my mate and I decided with missiles, so we went with Caldari. It was all good, and we set out on our adventure to survive in the harshness of space. I wanted a goal though, I wanted to fly something awesome, and looking through the different ships caldari had access to, I fell in love with the Nighthawk. It looked awesome, it sounded awesome and it was awesome to fly in my missions. I took it every where. It was also in this that I learn it was smart to have more than one safespot… important lesson right there!
Was heartbroken when the model design got changed to the drake hull.

Hecate

I hit the directional scanner, target in view I see a vexor ratting in system unaware of my arrival, I hit launch and send my combat probes to scan down the anomaly. Ping! Target acquired, probes retrieved I begin to warp at 0 and activate Sharpshooter mode.
Wiizpop! As I exit warp the Vexor makes a break for it but its too late! Scram and web activated as I target the Vexor, hes trapped, as a desperate attempt he aggro’s me with his drones, defensive mode activated and drones targeted, pop! pop! pop! He’s a sitting duck! Sharpshooter reactivated, orbit 500 and destroy!

This is my experience in one of the best and my favourite pvp Destroyers in Eve Online!

Legion
This was the ship of my soul. I made a lot of ISK with it, looting standard and superior sleepers sites in high-sec. I lost a couple of them before finding the right path to clear the sites but it was fun and I belive it is the right ship to do that for making money in high-sec and to PLEX your account.
What can I say more? Its just the right ship for this job. I even survived a gank attack on a star gate with this ship. It s a little expensive ship fitting but it will bring you back much more ISK!

Bellicose

My first cruiser back in 2006/2007 and my first Low-Sec Belt-Ratting experience. Silly me used a jammer to jam the rats when suddenly another player showed up. We were exchanging salvos back and forth and through pure luck the rat switched target and attacked him instead of my poorly outfitted ship. After a minute or two, his ship exploded although he wasn’t tackled and I had my first PVP experience and my first EVE-Shake. I think it was this encounter which kept me in the game. The thrill of real PVP.

Nereus
About 3 years ago I noiticed a red enter our system in Provi and jumped into a Nereus I had set up as bait a while back. I warped to a random gate not really thinking he would stop to look at me even if he bumped into me. Bang ! Heretic appears and bubbles me lol…I managed to tank him while my drones/guns wore him down…Not being a big pvper I can say that I have never shaken soooo much.the rest is history.

Noctis

When a fierce battle is over, it is when Noctis cleans the battlefield; similarly, after a fierce company employee meeting, a dear cleaner will come out of the Noctis room to solve the piece they left. Bored:狞笑:

BADGER

Because, let’s face it - you want to say “Hey, let’s have that video call in the Badger room!” or “Meet me in Badger in five!”
