Corp Projects - reverse delivery

I’d like to suggest a small addition to the Corporation Projects system that I think could have a big impact, especially for groups working with new players.

At the moment, the “deliver” project type allows members to hand items in to the corporation in exchange for ISK. What I would love to see is the reverse - a project type where the corporation puts items into the pool, and members can claim them once.

The use case is obvious: a lot of corps want to give their members starter packs of some sort, whether that’s skillbooks, ships, modules, ammo, or whatever. Right now the only ways to do that are messy and admin-heavy: contracts, shared hangars that get raided, or endless manual handouts. It’s not fun for either the newbies or the people managing it.

If there were a “reverse deliver” project type, the corp could simply load the items into the project, set a limit of one claim per character, and let the system do the rest. Members would see the project in their Opportunities list, click to claim their pack, and the items would land straight in their hangar. The corp would still have visibility of who’s claimed what, just as with other projects.

I think this would be a huge quality-of-life change not just for EVE University but for any group that onboards new players or wants to distribute supplies fairly and without drama. And it would tie into the project system really neatly - the same sense of “complete this task to receive your reward,” but with the corp as the giver instead of the taker.

I think “provision” would be a better descriptor versus “reverse deliver.” E.g., with a provisioning job, a quartermaster would supply new members with equipment.

Otherwise, not a bad idea.

Would the corp be able to set a limit of multiple ones? Would fitted ships also be possible?

100% supported.
