I received an in-game email invite to a corp (get many). I read the info on the corp and they say they have a ticker symbol.
Are corps publicly traded in the game? If so, where?
A corp ticker is simply the short tag applied to resources/players affiliated with the corp.
While corps can issue stock, they are not traded on a market, and serve more as backup control features than as vehicles for investment (as they have no intrinsic value to the market, only value to the corp).

The shares can be used to pay dividends to shareholders. There is an inbuilt functionality for these payments - go to Corporation / Home / Dividends.
This functionality has allowed many corps over time - like my own corp - to sell shares to outside investors.
