Is it still possible to trade/sell corporations with standing? Got no luck using the forum search function.
what do you mean by this?
As in, you want to share standings with someone?
A player corporation’s standings is based on the average of its members. That means that under new ownership and with different members that corp’s standings are going to change.
There used to be a market for corps with standings but that got changed years ago because several mechanics got changed as everything needed to be made easy and everyone needed participation trophies. This is why you can’t find any info on it, as it’s not of any value nor use.
i never heard of this, must be before my time 2011
Generally using the Standings feature in any way shape or form in EVE online is an exploit and your account will be deleted.
I kid. But yeah they have no idea what they are doing with it anymore. Need missions to raise it. But talk about updating missions and they send assassins to your house.
Back then you needed specific corp standing to place POS, sometimes people sold their corp because of those standings. It wasn’t really much of a business.
Back in the day, if you were the only one in corp, (like just created it) your personal stranding would transfer to the corp after 8 days or so.
It’s the average of all members so if just one member then, yes.
Yea that still happens. As aisha said it takes up to a week for a new corp members standings to be included with the corps average standings
@Aisha_Katalen I remember about standings having to do with POS
So its still possible, weird that noone is doing it anymore.
/me sighs
Didn’t see you mentioned that some stuff changed. Trying to find out what and when.
Upwell citadels replaced POS and slowly integrated functionality starting in November 2016. There have been subsequent iterations, adding refineries and other upwell structures and functionalities. Upwell structures did not need the standings systems to anchor; only defendability was required, and so they did away with the POS standings systems of old.
Ah the old days
