COSMOS Sites Are Broken AF!

Don’t bother, I don’t celebrate Christmas.

You seriously think Brisc wouldn’t have bought them out by the time you put your order in?

  1. He’s an insider and will know long before you when they are hitting the store.
  2. Nobody loves him more than he himself does. He’ll buy them all to give to his friends and loved ones.

Mr Epeen :sunglasses:

lol Dang, epeen, so grinchy of you!

EDIT:

np Then it’s a Yule gift.

I don’t celebrate, period. Give that gift to someone else.

I resemble that remark.

oh and Brisc does work his ass off, in the CSM in case you are wondering if I still believe that? I do.

Believing something doesn’t make it fact.

Nor does it make it false. So judge it on the facts that you have before you. Ignore the testimony of me, if you choose to because I might have a bias. But who shows up to talk to players? Who makes the visible effort?

Brisc doesn’t “talk” to players, he debases them.
And if talking to players is “working his arse off” then you have a weird notion of WORK.

yeah, well. I am retired from RL work.

and what is your definition of work in regards to what the CSM is ‘supposed’ to do?

See, I think he does what he is supposed to do and does it well. But we have derailed this thread so much that the one armed man has gotten away.

Do the Cosmos sites need a looking at? yes. although I am not sure that nerfing drones into the ground is the right answer. Keys sounds slightly better until one considers that the people running the site don’t care about finishing, just farmin.

The Yule Lads will be disappointed :frowning:

How about winter solstice, Feast of St Arzad, Galactic Fedo Day…anything?

"This ancient missions system that hasn’t been touched in 15 years is janky and broken"

“Yeah but it’s far too much hassle and effort to work out how to fix it, so we made you a new log-in event and some skinz instead kthxbai”

Look at all the messed up changes and how much the community said they were going to ruin EVE and how much the community needed the CSM to side with the community and how much that didn’t happen, then you know what ‘work’ I’m talking about.

The one-arm man got killed by Harrison Ford in The Fugitive so it’s all good, but you’re right, Brisc has derailed this thread long enough.

Yes the COSMOS sites are broken but CCP swept it under the rug so it’s alright.

Nothing, not even my birthday.

Rattati doesn’t listen to the CSM any more than he listens to the players.

He came into the job after failing at multiple first person shooter projects with his nerf manifesto and literally said everyone should just “shut up and take their medicine” because he was going to spend the next couple years punishing the players with “all sticks and no carrots”.

What stuff. I talk to plenty of folks, listen to even more. I do have a handful of people who ride me on the forums like I’m the New York subway, but that’s more a reflection on them than me, and just because I don’t lie there and take it doesn’t mean I’m not doing my job.

I, for one, am totally and completely shocked that this guy doesn’t celebrate anything.

And it’s funny that I get all the blame for this, but you still think Mike is doing a good job, despite him having been on the CSM literally twice as long as I have. Maybe, just maybe, you don’t know what you’re talking about.

100% accurate.

When you encounter something in EvE that’s messed up because of old code and remember that Hilmar was the lead programmer for ccp back in their early days:

Mike didnt try to “fix” ecm, you did, among other things. Its why you are constantly getting shat on

Just to be clear here, you are supporting the statement that says CCP would rather do log-in events and SKINS than fix old content right?

I love how my thread has just become a “lets ■■■■ on the CSM doods”… not!

The way I see it - the content wouldn’t need to be fixed if CCP actually hired competent programmers. Hell, the ones they currently have can’t even code Apparel items into their correct Market category…
