why can i open a covert cyno in a wormhole? i thought this doesn’t work?

I am pretty sure you can open it there but nothing can jump to it.

Not to go [much] off topic, how is a covert cyno different from a covert jump portal?
Covert cynos are the beacons that Covert Jump portals lock on to to bridge ships in. What I don’t know is whether wormhole systems block bridging in mechanically so that you can’t bridge in if you by pure chance have chars in 2 close by systems, or if Wormhole systems are just all too far apart from each other for covert jump bridges.
Its kinda like how you can jump to a cyno in hisec… but you cant light one.
