Well, not much competition now for getting points at least.

Oh, I already have plenty of the ore; looking for loot and quick points for the event. Done with that now, still having a very noticeable drop off of loot table items. Back to exploration and missions, it appears.

Have anyone collected all SKINs that drop in wrecks? I wonder how many SKINs there is to drop cus I got only one drop, Curse Cold Iron SKIN

There are not many skins in the drops, got 3 in total after killing countless bosses. Anyway I don’t like that this event devalues my cold iron skin collection.

I’m done now with it, maybe killing some more bosses to help my sec status for the next lowsec roam. This was a very well created event overall. The special Nebula thing is very nice, maybe with even a bit more contrast to standard environment next time.

The only real flaw was the balancing between mining sites and gauntlet sites. The value of the accelerators was almost fully in the mineral, hence making gauntlets a waste of time. Also the harvest sites had more generic loot, cause more NPCs.

I think there are 12 skins that drop, not sure.
I got this in my station, I had no cold iron skin before the event in this station.

I got Retribution and Redeemer to add to the list … and some Navy Issue ship I don’t remember which :frowning:

EDIT: I have finished the event 2 days ago, now I am experimenting and basically farming for the skins. Enyo is a no-go without some cap warfare protection (battery or injector). I have to try an Astero next … doing only Gauntlet sites, but with some kiting same applies to Harvest sites …

yeah, I should have sorted them by name. easier to check if it is in the list.

Guess I’ll try and do some more Gauntlet sites to hunt for those Cold Iron SKINs. @Anderson_Geten thx for the list! :hugs:

The event value turned out to be about more than accelerators, when they decided to include faction mods as a possible drop; gauntlets are easier to run than the harvest fields - they’ve made it no worse and slightly better chance wise, compared to running standard combat anoms, which have a chance for a faction commander which has a chance to drop a faction mod.

OK, so for the last 2-3 days, I click on the Crimson Harvest item in The Agency list. The display to the right side of the window changes and shows me the three areas available: Crimson Raiders, Crimson Harvester, and Crimson Commander. I went and mined some and got the first points for Cthonic ore. I then encountered some raiders and killed four. Got points. Now, I see no icons in the map, as though there are no available places to mine or hunt. I’m at something of a loss to see how to continue the story/campaign. Anyone have ideas for me on this?

Is there a bug with how the reprocessing rate on the Cthonic Attar is calculated? I’m seeing 72.4% in an unrigged Tatara (0.5 sec) while Veldspar is getting 75.3% (skills maxed + RX-804 Implant). For some reason the Cthonic Attar Base Efficiency is parked at 50% while Veld is getting the structure bonus at 52%.

The “three areas available” are tracking your score in those three areas. in The Agency under “suggested” items, you should see an entry for “event site” when you’re in a system with a suitable site. But The Agency doesn’t direct you to available sites outside your current system, and because you can see event site beacons in the overview listing, its not that useful to keep the agency window open for this event, except to track your points progress.

Look for Crimson Gauntlet site beacons as you travel, they can pop up in any system in known space and usually respawn after being completed, in 5-10 mins. The Harvest Fields (on the other side of the entry warp gate) can be mined semi-safely, if you (or others) don’t shoot anything, or travel more than half the distance toward the blood raider structure opposite (getting too close triggers a tough group of blood raiders to warp in.)

I saw this, didn’t even regard it as a bug: special rocks, special refine rate, seemed somehow “appropriate.” Everyone has the same problem, so it has been a “fair” situation.

@CCP_Turtlepower, I hope this isn’t changed with just a few days left on the clock… Perhaps save this for the next Event.

I know the drop rate has reduced, and the maket has taken a hit from the amount of items being sold, however not everyone has the time to play the event from day one, real life gets in the way. the drop rate should be the same from day one to the end so its fair for everyone. peeps that get to play more just get more stuff from the time played, but at least people that get to play near the end of the event should get what they put into it as well.

I done 5 sites last night and got 2 boosters, few crystals lenses and scrap, came to 270k… Nice.

Few of my pals on day one made 14 billion and on the first day… 17 dark blood webs, shed loads of reppers, cap boosters, scrams, weapons etc etc, loot rate is derp

Loot has become so ridiculous they might as well cut the rest of the event. It pays better to just shoot a couple of belt rats now. I completed a harvest field, and got a total worth of almost 2.5m, including salvage.
