It could be they equate Hi-sec to Alpha players and those who pay subscription could be mad at players who don’t pay for play so they always complaint on Hi-sec so CCP adds nothing and keep taking away until Alpha players cannot play any more.
It could aslo be pure macho talk, brag how easy Hi-sec is so CCP make it harder like allow gankers to destroy more ships and permanent camp gates so annoy Hi-sec players and make it more and more worth less to play there.
It could also be that Null-sec allience push for boring Hi-sec to make players join their corporations and pay subscription other wise those players cannot participate.
My personal opinion is Hi-sec deleted from the game so better cohesion in EVE community, no more players complain about ganking and less work for devs.
Same. All events have been pure garbage the last 2 years or so. I won’t even log in for them any more. Can’t find any content, literally after hours of jumping systems and when you do, there’s already 2 others in it.

But hear me out, going to take a wild guess that you are NOT enjoying your Eve experience. Also summarizing that you have little, if any, experience with gameplay outside of hisec. I’m no mathematician but think 1+1=2 last I checked.

Anyway, I done two sites, and the average loot drop should be around 20Mil in HS… average time less than 20 mons… so it’s about 60 Mil/hour… without counting Data sites etc… it could easily go 100 Mil…
And I didn’t notice much difference also…. a bit in drop value??? But it’s minimal…
