143m ISK from 46 sites in 48 hours. Not worth the time or effort.
Assuming zkill is accurate, you earned that much with no losses, so almost ‘ideal’ conditions right ?
Got 94M in 15 minutes out of 3 sites yesterday in my WH. Looks pretty nice to me. What now?
Scuttle away sideways.
well this boring, logged on 24 hours later, same crap in my home system.
everyone knows if drops are 150 million the actual value is less than 25 million, every item price is over inflated
the only people who will be happy with the event will be eve’s yes men.
On the plus side, the reward tracks are less annoying, ie: complete a set number of larger tasks for a larger reward (no more nickel and dime crap). And they’re repeatable. I know this was introduced already in past events, but still.
Event items valued at 63.4m ISK; sold for 55.1m ISK to buy orders. That’s from 4 Crimson Gauntlets/Tetrimon Base sites in high-sec.
I mean, when you factor the amount of time spent waiting for a site to spawn - even mining is starting to look like a better income…
I addressed that new change in another post…
Anyway, the main thing I don’t like about this event is how the Agency tasks are set up now… Each task requires a very large amount to be completed first before any points are gained and added to the Points Progress Bar…
For example, the Hacking task requires 100 cans to be hacked which then adds 500 points to the Progress Bar…
Meanwhile the Points Progress Bar at the top is still set up like past events with little rewards spread out at various point spots, for example - a booster at 40 points, ship skin at 80 points, skill points at 125, etc…
So basically all the rewards spread out along the Points Progress Bar all the way up to 500 can’t be claimed until 100 cans are hacked… That means those boosters and other items can’t be used to help complete the event tasks until the Points Progress Bar, or the event itself, is half way done..
And that’s just for the first half of the Points Progress Bar, the second half will be the same… Also with the way it’s set up now, causal part-time players and brand new players can easily come up short on completing a task and thus won’t be able to claim any rewards whatsoever from the Agency…
Now I don’t know about the combat tasks but the high sec event hacking sites are definitely not new player friendly…
I gotta say whoever signed off on implementing those aspects in this event definitely needs to be fired…

Got a couple B from an AFK on the gate.
Don’t mislead people esp newbros mining is never the answer ![]()
I tell newbros, “Just say NO to mining!”
And that’s precisely why your the savior of highsec, all that meaningless skilling, irl time dumping for months just to die of boredom at the end of it
If you really think of it, Safety is saving the miners from themselves.
Yep, the disconnect between what’s on the progress bar and what one actually has to do to earn anything on the progress bar is truly a grandly stupid thing to behold
What about salt mining? ![]()

Salt is like money, you can work hard for it for sure but eventually you learn to make the money work for you.
One might even say at this point the salt mines itself.

The gift that keeps on giving. ![]()
Eh its not that big of a deal really and i prefer this method rather than having to click that stupid button 3 times in a site just so you don’t miss a step and waste time
This is better
It’s not better and it is a big deal… The whole thing has now been turned into a major grind fest designed to take even longer before players can collect a single reward from the Agency..
As for the issue of having to constantly click the button to claim Event Points in past events, CCP/FC could have easily just made the Agency auto-claim those points… In fact that’s how it use to be a long time ago, the only time clicking was required was to claim the rewards…

Agree to disagree i guess
I said “starting to”…
