Steve is demonstrably earning money off EVE, via 3rd party site and donations to him personally.
That is a serious issue for a CSM.
If I dropped $500-5000 on his Patreon in the next 5mins, would that not concern you?
Itâs important to remember that Salvos posts an average of 10 variations of the same nonsense on every thread he pollutes, hence the 10 times as many posts.

If we wanted to âbuyâ any of them⌠we could contact them and give them money under the table. Nobody would know. If anything, you trying to buy someone overtly makes it LESS likely youâd get anything, because youâd assume theyâd have to make certain it didnât look like someone whoâs on record for paying them is getting any kind of benefit. If the goons wanted to pay Steve (or any other CSM member) 10 grand to vote a certain way or say certain things⌠they wouldnât do it through patreon.

If the CSM voting system was âfineâ and âworking as intendedâ as people here are saying why is the CSM stacked with 0.0âs big alliances? Is that a true representation of the players of EVE online? How many Goons or goon related toons are on the current CSM? What about previous CSM?
Why is the current âbalance passâ or rather unbalance pass so clearly in favor of 0.0 shills who want to make isk more safely?
How about the voter statistics? What % of active accounts vote? How many donât vote at all because they feel there is no point as the current system favors block voters?
How many CSM have had a good spread of representation from across the EVE community? Where is the rep for WHers, Faction War, Low sec etc?
Above all how many potentially great CSM representatives never get on the CSM because 0.0 block voting ensures that 80% of the panel are Goons/Test/NC/PL?
Questions that need answers if CCP want the CSM to truly rep the EVE community.

I think its clear a substantial part of the playerbase have lost confidence in the CSM system, and do not feel their interests are being represented. They are also concerned about lack of transparency regarding CSM/CCP exchanges.
I think its also clear a substantial part of the playerbase no longer want to pay for CSM flights and accommodation with their subs.
A normal day with @Salvos_Rhoska at EVEO.

To put things in perspective:
If CSM was disbanded tonight, there would not be riots in EVE tomorrow.
Quite frankly, few, if any, would even bat an eyelid at it.
That says a lot about whether the CSM program is worth keeping around or not.

64% voting âNoâ out of 141 respondents is pretty condemning of confidence in the CSM program.
Next time please include a âIDGAFâ option, which can be rolled into the âNoâ vote as not supporting the program.
