There has to be a way to keep folks from gaming the system. With no Omega, you just create a thousand alts more than 30 days before the election and walk to victory. I get it - it sucks when you’re an alpha who actually plays, but there needs to be some criteria.

yeah, there needs to be a way like a nontradeable medallion you earn that shows up in the nes by playing long enough and doing meaningful things, not just afk mining for example. what you need to do is probably just get the weekend pass though

I have to disagree, alphas are trial, no matter how good intended the alpha is, it’s a shot in the foot to let them vote. Starting with the omega disrespect.
I told you all to not compare it to real democracy… At least not the modern version.

i am not comparing it to anything, it is just sad you have to ‘pay to vote’ when csm can be alphas

all they have to do is get multiple accounts and weekend passes which are 5$ or so
at least while they run, they should be allowed to be alpha later on because you dont know their budget
For me even though I have a lot of accounts I’m only allowed to vote once. All of them are connected to the same email so…
like i said, i don’t mind it for the most part, maybe they should make it so that the players who make it have the faction/major npc corp leaders named after the csm members as a little reference

I think you read some of the posts I made about how to free Omega? LSI and all that? I mean it can be Omega for free. Its the skillpoints that you decide to not sell which cost money. CCP just kinda put them on your toon and hopes you dont sell them for full value. Its pretty easy to pay for your acct with ISK for most people. They just decide to spend it on other things and keep the SP too.

2m SP is 1 month time.
20 dollars for one month in time.
45+ dollars if you buy LSI and use plex value to get 2m SP.
So paying CCP is best by about 200% value on using plex to buy the SP. I just use plex to pay for 3 month deals in NES, then sell back any SP that I dont want to keep on each toon.
