CSM Voting is just getting started! Representatives are Already Chosen

best i can do is vote, and i don’t really care about ganking, it has never happened to me because i don’t give the gankers who show up a chance once they come, or i attack the gankers, big fan of that.

I get what you’re saying. Ever think about this though?.. Voting is only the most simple and detached form of politics. In my experience you could really make things happen in other ways. You just gotta be creative and smarter than the average bear.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

yeah, but you get free ships sometimes at the very least. and i am not planning on joining a null alliance, i am planning on campaigning and conquering eventually.

being in a major alliance basically turns you into the equivalent of a multiboxer or a bot anyways.

The entire game changes when a multi-boxer has to warp or jump gates. People just don’t know it or have power and won’t allow it to be changed.
One man in one ship can take an entire army out of the battle. One ceptor on one gate… One warp away from zero at the undock and the multi-boxer is introduced to reality.

Perhaps Eatcakeio coukd put her money where her mouth is and run for CSM

The bad guy is the most important guy in this game. Only the top 1% of players can even attempt to fill this role for the community.

It also means that people are not going to thank you and they’re certainly not going to vote for you.

@Mina_Tsunami you got some stuff right, like streaming these days must be a requirement to get into CSM, not an official one, but to be largely known. People want to exercise their voting powah they ain’t gonna vote for someone that does not occupy their imaginary.

About the good/bad guys, that’s a translate of the player values. The game by itself has no such values.

I could elaborate bringing Dostoevsky and all that stuff, but the concept is pretty simple. One actually applies its own morals to his/her game view. Some don’t, which is pretty plausible and, IMHO, smart.

But you see that’s the thing… One does not apply real life morals to this video game. That’s psychotic.
There’s also the point that this is a Sci-Fi video game and not an AOL chat room. It is not meant to represent a nice clean civilized society.
I’ve spent many years speaking directly on discord to many people in this game. The ones that people think are the bad guys are really good people. They’re very smart and caring. They all do very well in life and take care of their families. I would look up to them in real life.

The thing is that any Joe blow that logs into this game can run around and do missions and be a Care Bear. It takes absolutely no skill for 95% of players in this game to shake hands get along and just try not to piss someone off.

Now I’ll challenge you to try the opposite. You will find out very quickly that you don’t have what it takes. You will become what is called a Mock.

You see this unwillingness to face reality and to face your own inadequacies along with your own failure against those who are stronger and better is the primary reason people become so comfortable with the belief that being a nice guy is somehow virtuous.

You don’t need to quote the names of philosophers… You just need to understand the philosophy. Most of mine is Frederick Nietzsche and Ayn Rand.

ohohohohoho, this is the place where you can find … well, interesting people.

Just “Take a Look Around”.

18 is the age limit to apply to be a csm.. but luckily also 13 is the age limit to be able to play EVE.

The way I see it is that folk who moan about CSM but also claim to be “content” creators in the game that are apparently loved by the many should run for the CSM.

Show us all how it’s done .

They of course won’t as the truth is they are not as popular or loved as they make out to be or believe they are .

You ever have one of those kids log on your discord for the first time? It’s a horrible experience for everyone involved. My groups are 18+.

It’s not a good time immediately dragging them into another channel to explain why they will be leaving. It doesn’t make you feel good to do it. It’s just a sad situation.

I never spoke to my daughter about Eve. I bought her a computer and introduced her to Warcraft…
Which she used to stand at the bank and talk all day while selling vendor apples to people for 10 gold… F****** scammer.

i know

Frankly…the only CSM members I’ve ever even heard of are Brisc Rubal and Mike Azariah. CSM is like new Prime Ministers in the UK…someone takes over and its like ‘Who ?..’

Ohno people are doing it again, they’re forcing me to agree with Brisc. When will you clowns learn.

Just Because you fail to pay attention to something doesn’t mean it’s bad.

You strike me as ignorant on the subject

Like I care what strikes some random nobody in EVE ?

My prediction for the winners: Most of the player base - for note voting in the first place.
