Instead of moving ganking out of the game why not a suggestion to - for a change towards amusement - award those who get ganked in mining, industry and freight ships with isk for supporting the economic balance.
The fleet mechanics make ganks passable, Ie i can attack any suscept. freely. but if the suspect is in a fleet with rep boosts concord never responds. So dont count on a high sec response.

I gave no thought about suicide banks in hisec…unit I began to PvP flying bling, playing for Wingspan. the I became a hot target coming into hubs. Nita the worst, Minmatar second. Never got jumped in Ammar or Gallante space yet so far. I avoid Minmatar regions generally speaking if flying something killworthy.
Jita is number one though. Minmatar hubs and Cinq Liason 0.5 areas are tied for me for most risky. I almost lost a bling widow I was transporting in Cinq but managed to outwit the setup while testing some fittings. Lost Barghest, Tengu worth 4B … The average since price of ship I lose is maybe 3B. With ■■■■ loot drops being in the order of a couple hundred million, I don’t see the point. A fleet of tornados nailed me once at Jita, they lost insta’d me but lost their ships right away. The only reason I could think was vandetta. Right this moment that same corp is waiting me out rn. Talking to me in a few of 20 muktibox all with less than a year old characters. If I undock tonight and they bumb me, I’ll be out again. I take enough risk in W-space. I come to hisec and I want to let my guard down. I can’t. This is one of the most discouraging aspects of the game, IMO. Gank me in lo/null/WH… I shake your hand and say good flying cap. In hisec I spit on your hand.

Tile out your client windows so you can see the edge of the overview and simply ctrl+click your way through them with guns pre-activated. Much faster than eve-o preview.
