I’m having an issue where the “look at” mode for the cursor seems to activate randomly, especially if I have clicked on something outside the client and then come back. Sometimes it will happen when I’m just rotating the camera though so I’m not sure what conditions are causing it.
The other issue I’m having is switching between clients that are stacked on the same screen. Sometimes it won’t let me switch between them and keeps pulling the same one to the top. I have to click the stop client button on the launcher for the one I want and the quit prompt forces it to the top.
Edit: I tried putting the clients on separate monitors and it seems like there’s a severe delay before it will switch focus properly, if it does it at all without forcing it with the quit method I mentioned.
Edit 2: someone in this thread recommended disabling discord overlay to fix the client focus issue. So far it seems to be working.
Having similar problems as described here. The look at mode snapping back to the ship is a minor problem, but currently not able to run 2 clients at the same time due to the 2nd problem OP mentioned
Same issue here, 3 clients running, one on main monitor, two on secondary monitor. Huge delay between input and anything happening. It seems to prioritize one client and leaves the other two stagnant. Can move mouse around the clients but can’t click on anything, can’t move client windows. Started happening after my pc restarted due to an “unexpected error” while playing.
I have an issue whereby I warp a ship into a belts and then I am unable to rotate my ship. My mouse can only select using a box. Sometimes it randomly selects items in space. Eve is unplayable for me due to this.
I have a new high end PC with Windows 11. I havent had this issue before. I have restarted PC, relogged Eve cleared caches nothing works.
I’m seeing exactly the same issue — whichever EVE window has focus receives input, and the other one stays stuck. Placing the clients on separate monitors helps a bit, but it’s still inconsistent. Has anyone figured out a proper fix for this?
Same here…any word from CCP? I am having the same issue on two separate systems, one with dual monitors and one without. Tried using Eve-X and same with or without it.
Piling onto this thread with the same issue. It seems like double clicking on something inside one of the clients can sometimes get the focus to switch over. Corpmates say eve-o-preview seems to workaround the problems some how but I just run my clients side by side on a superultrawide.
