CVA Immortal: Here we stand
Ave Summit,
I am speaking today in regard to the 20 year anniversary of Curatores Veritatis Alliance. Our celebrations have been somewhat muted due to the constant warfare our region has received. For 20 years we have fought nobly and fiercely for our beloved Empire. We have seen great glories and victories. We have suffered humbling defeats and losses. Yet, we always stood firm. What was lost was always rebuilt or retaken.
I was there during the fall of Providence. Our homeland overrun by the coalition of Pirate Lords and their allies. Isolated and alone we retreated from our homeland in disgrace. Our allies spread throughout the universe of New Eden. Our shame humbling our honor. Disgraced we lived in exile going through a penitent’s crusade hunting down those that harmed us. Many claimed we were destroyed and never again will we rise again.
Years of exile before returning to Providence. The slow fight which eventually saw us retake our homeland and punish the Pirate Lords. Burning down their keepstars and planting our flag throughout providence. Our homeland was liberated and free. Yet, peace would not come to us even after our victory. The Pirate Lords and their coalition time and time again reinvaded our home. Backed by the forces of the Minmatar our forces held strong, and we remain the undisputed lords of Providence.
Time and time again we are continued to be tested by different invaders. We are told every day we will lose our home. Our structures will be ash. That our citadels will be burned from our space. For 20 years we have been told this. The threats of the pirate, rebel, and terrorist falls on stoic ears. Here we stand. The lords of Providence. Loyal Paladin Wardens of the Amarr Empire. Our faith absolute. Our Honor intact. We are not hiding. Woe to those who look upon our homeland with covetous eyes. You will find nothing but death. To those who wish to build civilization you will find no greater friend.
