Cyber-Space Social-Stations, please: pilots quarters return!

oh, i hadn’t mentioned in the AI post you didnt read QUAKEGOD,
that the players could server link? say host these spaces for their POS and possibly ships?
like decentralise the resources that are your personal spaces, nearly looking more into networking the interiors out virtually by linking? host trust etc but the BIG PICTURE,
is a small version of CYBER-SPACE and HOLODECKS, or custom games given you could manage…
EVE is a large sandbox, I feel like with the right community project? its could simply link to a 3dvrchat 3rd party if approvable. then another program and service can serve that aspect, its was the pilots licenses and that would get ya into the CLUBS.
unless your underage or wierdly critical quake gods.

Had that, it was removed

Have you seen the inside of a ship? Very little room. You are in a pod filled with goo. The interior is not like you see on star trek. There is no walking around. Some ships have room for a small bridge crew, but you are confined to your pod

yet infomorphic psychologies and rebel factioning, sounds more like war time propaganda, I mean if dead space games is the money shot, i dont blame them.
but we have a 1st person perspective of life on earth, and time spent conditioning oneself into anti-social cyber-ship-robots is your thing… HEY this is a MORPHIC idea take it or back up and leave it…
I am saying space travel is in application of social, and experiments such as the:

Corrupted Blood incident

Virtual plague in World of Warcraft

More

Date

September 13 to October 8, 2005

Game

World of Warcraft

Cause

Programming oversight during a boss battle debuff transmission

The Corrupted Blood incident in World of Warcraft, an accidental virtual pandemic, caught the attention of epidemiologists Dr. Nina Fefferman and Dr. Eric Lofgren, who conducted research on it.Dr. Nina Fefferman, a mathematical biologist, was an avid WoW player during the incident. She reached out to her colleague Dr. Eric Lofgren, and together they published a paper in 2007 detailing their findings on the Corrupted Blood outbreak. Fefferman’s research focuses on understanding infectious disease outbreaks to prepare for potential pandemics.Dr. Eric Lofgren, an assistant professor at Washington State University, was also an active WoW player when the Corrupted Blood outbreak occurred. He collaborated with Fefferman to study the player behavior during the virtual pandemic, as it provided insights into human behavior during real-world outbreaks.Their research highlighted how the Corrupted Blood incident reflected the full range of behaviors seen in actual pandemics, such as players sharing information, acting as first responders, self-quarantining, and even intentionally spreading the disease. This led them to suggest that observing player actions in virtual disease outbreaks could potentially inform real-world disease models by accounting for human behavior.

these sandboxes have great potential, It’s a shame you have taken the paved parking lots approach to a wildly exciting advent, and the idea of 3rd party help, may give us a chance to see social experiment about applications to social 3d cartography being social!.. it was nice to see science mini-games.

but if you dont know how we act in space? why act like your in space?
except like you assume things im not refering to, and this

WIS walking in stations, oh buds we could use our PS4 and a dust514 to walk on the planets… we just need like a premitted public project.

Reasons things dont change prolly due to resources, fan art and ppl have designed whole rooms to cosplay within the ships of eve, within their streaming rooms.
can we work towards 3rd party permissions, to adventure to do it ourselves, as the public may be the administrators of such a HOLODECK addon anyway.

so this holodeck might simulate the ship interior walk on planets by the api data?

due’ds TOURISM, it brings the lives of the party down… like the adverts later are cyberspace club and spaceships go boom just trying to get to your station.? like TOURISM sectoring the sandbox. by linking address to a 3rd party app? we need a permission possibly and use of api eve avatar data? for planet walks or whatever while your ship is idle… i mean multiboxing is boring for aesthetic space wana be like me… but flying a megathron around a star system well priceless… if you pull it off.

what are you missing about bringing in more carebears? for amusements. thats the economy user driven.

so it would lore as a HOLODECK to simulate the planet or a ship interior you may build? or custom. like a matrix training room, but 3rd party to play with avatar assets and station other players docked!

almost another game, but a room to generate the api data of eve stuff visually for WIS, seperately public project. like a HOLODECK to program yourself nearly. cut paste from references?
so within that as a HOLODECK game or program, which is seperate from tranquility except api data,
the program could multiscreen your avatar in the ship you design interior like, and planets you farm, or industry zones, and HEAD OFFICES… oh thats the ticket for yall…
THE CORPORATE HOLODECK HEADOFFICE!
so the station would have a link like address and maybe a button one day(like the pilots quarters door on the right that never opened!) go through that and say ship view after as the api loads the station address to launch a HOLODECK, Your in your work office and your corp boss is talking to whom ever in that office in the HOLODECK of that address, the structure of an adult virtual game called red light distric, RLD and their realestate type web accessed addressed virtual rooms, I believe leaves covering the gap between those addresses which might rotate(addresses&time)
to keep from being mulitplayer or api interacted, Leaving no choice but to fly your eve client ship elsewhere to get the address elsewhere to HOLODECK into the multi-player vitualization)

so its only with permissions i might attempt to create this HOLODECK project myself with help to render for api data of your pilots and environment api data, planet types or station designed rooms, a discord almost graphically could interact those players even without 3d render, but that would be nice… maybe for other games applicably aswell.
as if the other voice applications could use their radio service to link instead.
the lore of a HOLODECK is optional heh, rp: process of the patience to retain players.

I mean the platform idea of social media, the chat 3d type rooms of even battle net.
for a community to thrive, even offshoot to thrive i suppose a method need be projected.
ill look further into what might share those HOLODECK generating properties already and see if this can be done from the otherside, net traffic and tourism cyber-space wise…
CYBER-space is the tourism word tho.

OK and here’s the AI version of what I was saying>>>> OK? things arent YOUR fine line. im still mad. but:

Here’s a simplified and proofread version of your text:

The Idea

You propose creating a separate public project, like a “Holodeck” program, to visually generate and display API data from the game EVE Online. This Holodeck would be distinct from the game’s main server (Tranquility) but would use its API data.

Features

  1. Multiscreen Avatar and Ship Interior Design: The program would allow you to view your avatar in the ship you’ve designed, with a customized interior.
  2. Planetary and Industry Zone Visualization: You could visualize and explore the planets you farm and the industry zones you operate in.
  3. Corporate Head Offices: The program could create virtual head offices for corporations, where players could gather and interact.
  4. Accessing the Holodeck: There could be a link or button in the game (similar to the unused “pilot’s quarters” door) that would load the API data and launch the Holodeck program, transporting you to your virtual office or environment.
  5. Multiplayer Interaction: Similar to the virtual world “Red Light District” (RLD), the Holodeck could have web-accessible addressed virtual rooms, allowing multiplayer interaction and meetings within corporations or communities.

Potential Challenges

  1. Multiplayer and API Integration: To avoid conflicts with the main game, the Holodeck might need to operate separately from the EVE client, requiring players to obtain addresses or links from other sources to access the virtual environments.
  2. Rendering and Visualization: Rendering 3D environments and visualizations based on API data could be a technical challenge, but simpler solutions like Discord-style voice and chat interactions could be explored initially.
  3. Community Building: Creating a thriving community within the Holodeck would require careful planning and implementation of social features, similar to other successful online platforms.

Next Steps

You plan to research existing platforms or technologies that could facilitate the creation of this Holodeck project, potentially leveraging concepts like “cyberspace tourism” to attract users and build a community around the virtual environments generated from EVE Online’s API data.

thats how the machines understand this… like i dont want nay say, please if your interested in contributing to research and open source say dev, i am attempting to concept such and detail into a design. GL otherwise.
why does everyone think “booing” means more significantly then “adding”?

SIR your right, wow sorry… PLAYER specific. good add moving this thanks.

I don’t know if it’s drugs you’re on, or drugs you need to be on, but please do something…

Eve needs to stay about space simulation. Not dress up on holodecks

Sorry man, I didn’t understand a single word of what you wrote in that reply, nor got the feeling behind the reply.

Forget it Kyle. None of the usual suspects who love shooting down any ideas that deviate from the holy status quo will consider anything having to do with WIS. They believe that the way they play and what they like is the one true way.

CCP has lost all the visionaries, the technical skill and the will to make Eve anything beyond what it is today; a super niche game for those who feel somehow superior because they have “mastered” a deeply flawed game that appeals only to a tiny base of online gamers. How they manage to stay in business continues to amaze me.

WIS pretty much ruined the sense that there was any sort of sacrifice for the incredible power and immortality that comes with being a Capsuleer.

Before WIS, this game gave the impression that essentially becoming the Capsule was the price you paid for power. Of course this was shattered if you read the lore, but really, how many actually read the lore surrounding the PvP Sandbox? Most seem to know what Lore they know, by being told by someone who heard it from someone who read it.

Holy Necro, Batman. Jesus H. Christ, people. Walking in stations isn’t coming back. Ever.

I quite liked being able to step out on the balcony and look at my ships from a personal PoV, that and just sit on the sofa with the TV for a bit while I was maybe waiting for stuff, just my version of ship spinning.

I was happy with the little visual addition it was, shame it was removed, the minor addition I doubt would have taken much to maintain.

There is an entire dev blog on why it was removed.
