You are clueless to the point that you refuse to accept that it is not at all how you coined it
grovelling
It is not about asking for anything other than acceptance of what might be tossed over to your direction, either skill advice, target to lock up or just some random compliment that is passed down that will make your day go better than you expected.
Like this very thread, CCP made changes to our daily routine.
We will protest and try to make sense of all of it but in the end we will be grateful for CCP to had offered us a new way of spreading our day in New Eden.
We accept that and it is on the same grounds that we donât grovel but we humbly accept what is thrown down to us s and appreciate the opportunity to interact.
But I still think that the direction of taking away the ability to stay true to your path on Eve isnât the best direction to go for dailys.
Let them be there authentic self
Like me for example Iâm a heartless market place tycoon that bides there free time distributing Quafe beverages. Itâs certainly not lucrative but Iâll be damned I have so much fun doing it.
Players crabbed about there being no automatic dailies a few months back as I recall. Then they reduced the hand outs, again players complained. Now they pulled back on the login freebies again and some of the players act ( as if ) this is the end all be all of this game. I am here to play a game.
I admit, it is nice when they gift items or hand out demos, but to call them âgreedyâ is a tad bit strange when you think about it. I only assume this was done for balance and not to make money from the players or get them irate. I think CCP and other game companies have issues with being more transparent about their actions than anything else.
I donât know what the heck I will do with all the free SKINR stuff added to my account already. Not that anyone here seemed to notice the 33 days of free event items. We get free junk dumped on us by all these games, more during the major holidays. When I find something actually useful in there 2 things happen. First, I exclaim, âWow! No way!â then I have to go change my undies.
These daily rewards are there to entice you into playing harder than normal. Spending more hours focused on one game than the others you might be playing. I tend to ignore these distractions. If I didnât, I wouldnât be here at all, I would be playing Black Desert 24/7 instead.
I noticed and I donât want to be ungrateful but whatâs more important to me is human relations rather than some fake pixelated stuff. Most of it is trash and a waste of time.
Thereâs no chance of that, I do what I want when I want to.
I just watched a good video of it. I may try it⌠itâs not like I have anything better to do.
Honestly, the daily rewards arenât that hard - unless youâre looking for a for simply logging in (then youâll have to invest 2-5min per character). Evermarks arenât really cost effective at 2500/4500 to auto-complete two dailies (since youâre looking at roughly 15-25k isk per 100 Evermarks).
How am i applying damage or repairing someone if iâm not in a corp, live in highsec and donât want to lose my ship?
How am i supposed to do missions when in the space where i live are no agents?
How am i supposed to get Evermarks when paragon stations are not reachable for me? - either because traveltime is too high or my security standing is too low so i canât do the missions without getting blown up
What if signatures to be scanned takes ages, because i suck at scanning and they are very scarce in the space where i live - like 1 every 5 systems?
That list goes even on, depending on your location, playstyle and other circumstances. While this is a plus for Eve as it shows the diversity in the universe, this is a problem when you design âAIR daily goalsâ to be supposedly doable for everyone without keeping your game design in mind.
That is why people are asking for 2 goals of each track including doubling of goals, as this is the only way for those goals to become doable at all. Or if that is out of the question a complete redesign of the goal content is needed.
I am pretty new to the game, I think Iâve been playing for 4 months now. It was a great way to make some daily isk as a fresh player. I am not affected by this anymore as I have my ways to make isk. But I think changing this from 8 to 4 dailies is a pretty bad change.
I think you only need to do 2 of those dailies per day? I know for a fact, anyone can dock at a school system and do the following:
Mine 2000 units of anything - no stress, no one gets ganked in the school zones.
Scan 5 cosmics - There are always 9 cosmics in there - 3 relic, 3 data, and 3 gas.
Build something - snag a cheap BPO and poop out 1 round of ammo or do mission #3 Making Mountains and build the afterburner.
I assume you live 50 jumps away from the nearest school way out in Null? Well what are you crying about then, you obviously move out there to make tons of PvP corp cash and whatnot. All you get is 10K SP, evemarks, and 1 million ISK from the dailies. I already state above in post 128, âThese daily rewards are there to entice you into playing harder than normal. Spending more hours focused on one game than the others you might be playing.â
This happens everywhere you go. If I take time off from Black Desert, I think 30 days or more, they start gifting all my characters âWelcome Backâ gifts daily on top of the daily gifts I get for just login. My poor inventories get full, I let these item sit in the perpetual storage of the Black Spirit. If I ever get around to opening all the crap, I am going to have a lot of stuff to sell.
This game does have the expiration date, but a lot of those things just donât appeal to me at all. It is a psychologic mind trick they do to make you feel like you are losing. My friend was doing mission and said he was âupsetâ that he lost the 3 or 4 hour bonus because he had to leave for work⌠Those mission bonus timers are the same thing, stay glued to this game or you will lose! I asked him how much he lost?? His answer 81,000 ISK so I sent it to him. Hope he feels better now.
