The decision had been made that due to the lack of warning regarding this change to daily activities in the wonderful new air program feature, we will be sitting in our SP farming clones and won’t be undocking until at least mid January.

Except those removals make sense, it means the one for the industrialist task isn’t going to randomly ask you to go exploring, and vice versa for the explorer one not being given the task of using industry to produce an item, so that the task you’re given is actually going to relate to that task
The linked post is addressed to the devs in the CSM…

I encourage everyone to voice their thoughts & concerns regarding the recent change to AIR Dailies.
Thus the rest of the miners will have their profits slightly increased due to you and your alts not mining thus will be slightly less supply on the market?
That’s a fallacy. I’m not going to mine more because Frosty mines less and the amount of ore he brings in is but a drop in the ocean.
To quote your own post That’s a fallacy
as nobody implied that, it is only in your head.
Hence the slightly
.
That’s what they keep telling me!
You’re lucky you put that word in there… Alright, I give that one to you… I’ll get you next time
Has nothing to do with luck, it was a deliberate choice to be factual instead of exaggerating.
If you keep patting yourself on the back that hard you’ll soon be a cripple!
Just stating facts.
@Uriel_the_Flame Worst part is I know you’re telling the truth but don’t you worry, I will get you sooner or later.
You sound like the Frostpacker.
That’s a compliment. The difference is I don’t grovel to the Highsec princess and will never give her an Isk.
That last sentence gives a lot of opportunities for banter regarding the Frostpacker but as we’ve already drifted from the thread subject quite a bit, which was not my intention, I think it is time to let the subject drift back to the original course.
You’re absolutely right and we’re going to get spanked by @ISD_Kai ( which isn’t an entirely objectionable prospect ) but for the sake of both our accounts… Naah, off topic it is.
It’s 2500 for one task. If you do a another task it’s 4500 for the second. So a total of 7000, minus the 1000 you’d receive. So it’s effectively 6000 EM to complete both tasks with EMs. You can’t use them after you’ve received the 10K SP.
No salt to be had over the EMs themselves. Nobody cares about EMs. That’s why they are doing this. To artificially give the worthless carbon item some value. That, or they have some future plans for EM and want to deplete everyone’s stockpile so players don’t have a preexisting surplus. I’m leaning toward the former.
If it is the latter, there may be salt to harvest down the road.
I thought you groveled to Frosty the other highsec princess on account he’s your new sugar daddy paying your bills?
What happened to what we had?
So quick to throw us gankers away
Do…do you still think of us? Sometimes I look at my profit margins and remember the good times, but I have to be strong and remember the isk changed you.
7000 Evermarks to complete two dailies is just insane. This “feature” has ended up being a colossal nerf.
I think whether your ratting or mining exploring selling on the market etc you should be able to collect rewards.
What it did was allow casual players to dedicate an hour or two of time to an activity they found enjoyable to collect a prize.
Rather then log in realize nothing is going on and stare at their docked ship for twenty minutes before logging off, and using there free time to make eve is dying threads on the forum.
