COME ON, CPP, YOU GUYS ARE TALKING ABOUT SWITCHING TO THE NEW PYTHON 3, BUT YOU CAN’T EVEN FIX THAT The notification window is completely unreliable.
It disappears, comes back, disappears again, and sometimes does not return even after I set it to the full-screen main bar. Because of this, I have to dig through the character window just to find basic information like kill-related notifications and bounty results.
This is not a cosmetic issue. It directly breaks normal gameplay flow.
You are talking about major backend changes like moving to Python 3, but a core UI element has been broken for a long time and still behaves randomly.
Please fix the notification window instead of forcing players to work around it every time it disappears.
CCP can’t get anything right with Photon. They have already completely abandoned it and all knowledge about how to use it “appropriately” (which they never posessed, to be honest).
They are attempting to get away from the Can't Cone Properly meme with this FC nonsense but they will be called out just the same if they don’t improve so tough luck Failed Coding. Ha!
Whatever it is, i don’t care that much, but nice observation…
However, if you use the old name in these days it looks like you are a bit out of touch with the game and its developments and should get a bit more in sync.
Another possibility is that probably some vets will just keep calling them CPP just like how some people refuse to call “X” anything other than “Twitter” still or at most “TwitterX” or “Twitter/X” (FCCP)
Being out of touch with the game has beenCCP’s modus operandi for the past 12 years. It fits, I guess. Also: CCP has not in any way earned the right to call themselves FC, the most revered and important class of players in the game, those who keep the show running. CCP, on the other hand, does their utmost to break the game and make everything worse.
