I am a returning player and find myself set up in the Derelik region. Can anyone tell me if theres sort of a trade hub in the region? I searched the WIKI and it mentioned Berta, yet when i visited just now there was like 15 people in local. Any pointers in the right direction will be much appreciated.
Finding a ‘trade hub’ within the same region isn’t hard: just open the regional market and try to see if items are for sale and if buy orders are up.
You can see them through the entire region.
There probably are one or two stations that have some orders up.
Downside is that not every region will have a good trade hub like that with orders up for more than just some basic items, which is when you look for other trade hubs. Derelik is two regions away from Amarr or three regions away from the Forge, where you can find better trade hubs in either Amarr or Jita.
Rens is one jump out of Derelik via Odatrik.

Arnola VII - Moon 1 - Trust Partners Trading Post would be the closest thing to a Derelik trade hub. But there is not much there. I frequent the main 5 trade hubs;
- Amarr VIII (Oris) - Emperor Family Academy
- Hek VIII - Moon 12 - Boundless Creation Factory
- Rens VI - Moon 8 - Brutor Tribe Treasury
- Dodixie IX - Moon 20 - Federation Navy Assembly
- Jita IV - Moon 4 - Caldari Navy Assembly Plant
One trick I use for remote outposts, is to stack up inventory, while I find a wormhole shortcut to Jita. Otherwise I will pay someone to haul it using a contract, assuming it is worth paying them 10%. Then I have another character sell it off when it arrives in dock.

Best trade hub in Derelik is Podion, but it is quite dangerous.

I agree and you need to be able to get past the pirate blockades. It’s a good place to sell stuff for people trying to survive out there. Also a good place to find some deals on a new ship.
