Destruction of the [S-ICH] Rhea Initiative Fortizar

Ooo, I know how this goes !

He’ll say that it’s “too late” to stop his plan which is already in motion, and that while you were distracted with this, some other stuff is happening.

He might even throw in a “Fools, I shall destroy them all !”.

Im am not sure its the same Sepphiros we are talking about here

One thing that strikes me as both kind of funny and sad here. We on this board generally are rather wimpy in terms of military power aren’t we? Have to rely on CODE or PIRAT or MC back when they existed to take on even the middling sized structures available to us.

What happened to the days when we had entities like Star Fraction and so on, both heavily identifying with this board’s purpose and having the muscle to see things through on their own rather than having to bring in outsiders for every flex?

We’ve gotten real wealthy but kind of bad at the whole actual power thing.

Cat herding.

The lot with any bit of punch usually feel that this place is naught but a cross between a gossip board, party organization service and a soapbox for those who feel the need to yell.

Usually, any information that meandered its way to this board could be considered essentially shouted into a hurricane’s worth of an echo chamber.

An echo chamber that contains nothing but verbal poo.

All true, yet doesn’t answer the question of when it became so. It’s weird. I remember the days when it wasn’t. I see the days that it is. I can’t pinpoint when, or even exactly what happened.

The change wouldn’t be sudden, I guess. I think, as those of differing opinions and guns to back it up fought, they gradually killed one another up to a point where most of those who are left figure shouting while in-station is much, much safer.

Along with those who play pretend.

She’s mixing him up with the Butcher I think, somehow.

You’re not wrong here.

How dare I bring forces from my own alliance!

I can’t remember if you were part of the howling choir when I did the same with MC, or not. Not that it matters. I’ve no issue with bringing what’s needed for a job, I’m lamenting the fact that the denizens of this place pretty much have to rely on outsiders to do so. Or more to the point, that entities capable of doing so have pretty much vacated these boards entirely outside of a few individuals.

I mean, you’re not going to make the claim CODE as an entity is part of our little gathering of soapboxes and exhibitionism fetishes?

Why should anyone care if they are or not part of the Summit circus?

Though if we do care, I guess technically they are, considering Mizhir’s and certain other presences.

Missing the point that hard has to be intentional, surely?

As usual, if you think I missed your point, it is probably because you missed mine.

Wealth is power, no ?

A few key people left—either left the predecessors of these boards, or generally retired—and those who remained found this place less worth bothering with. So some of them left. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Oh, I missed that phrasing…

For the record, I don’t “identify with this board’s purpose”, whatever hell that might even mean. Summits are not a cause.

 I’m wondering if this whole thing might have something to do with taking out competition for the New Texel Biomedical Research Centre.

Negative. Our primary competition when it comes to Drifter biology research is SoE and other larger companies.
