The svipul and ishtar werent balanced overnight either. Baby steps. Youre still losing a mag stab or a rig slot for fitting.
Id rather they make minor changes, rather than heavy handed ones like TE (med ac), HML nerfs and in the process break more than what the nerf was focused on.
Nah. Losing a sig amp. And boosts compensate just fine. Meanwhile, instead of the RCU people are using because theyāre not thinking, you take one of the LSE IIs to an Azeotropic, reducing your signature, and use a PDS to get back the missing shield amount (and more), get the PG you need, and get more cap life. In exchange for the last 20km of lock range that you werenāt using anyway. DPS doesnāt drop at all.
Huh? VG/AS Shield Mach just removes TE and adds TC. Can script for more tracking than it had before (but falloff nerf + slightly less optimal and falloff from TE removal)ā¦ or range script to make up for falloff nerf and one less TE.
And I would assume itād be the same for HQ, but not sure. The new midslot is not going to be used for tank in VG/AS shield fleets, tho, the tank is a deadspace invuln and that only takes one slot. (with anti-em rig/DC for influence/AS).
They (the hunter DDA/BCS combos) will be popular with ALL rattlesnake pilots. And gilasā¦ and a few others.
Wondering if this means weāre getting combo magstab/DDA, combo heatsink/DDA, combo gyro/DDA somedayā¦
The FC ship or flag ship needs to have at least 1 gun to get on kills. As someone who occasionaly FCed in the past wanted to get kill mails or get on the kill mails as well.
If FC will be left out of the kill mail.
Sure for ppl with more accounts and in massive battles it will be used with secondary account perhaps but still
Along with the changes above, we had also hoped to āfixā 500mn Heavy Interdictors in this patch. We decided to hold off until we can also ship a new module to replace the mass control for wormholers."
That sounds disturbing. The best ship to close wormholes that are critical is the Phobos and that one doesnāt need a battleship mwd, since a battleship afterburner adds the same mass as a micro warp drive does.
The other hictors can do it too but the Phobos is very bad or the worst at pinning capitals and nobody ever complained that the Phobos was dominating dullsec and killing sooper doopers all day.
Reading between the lines, CCP may be looking to remove the mass-decrease from bubbles, hence they are not changing it until they have found a way to keep the mechanic somehow for wormhole-operations.
Also, most people use any HIC for closing wormholes, not just the Phobos.
You can run 7000 m/s in OS HIC. With perfect agility. Meaning you can orbit a cap @2km@7000m/s. And you can even outrun a siren and warpout.
CCP wants to correct that. But if only removing the mass from the bubble, then there is an issue with people not being able to close wh easily anymore.
So ccp postponed the patch that correct the OS MWD HIC in order to not screw all the wormholer in the ear.
Oh yes I saw that. And I knew about it since the Fiend was seeded on SiSi after that tournament.
The problem is the large mwd, the afterburner not so much.
Anyhow, I found another issue with the Drake Navy Issue:
The powergrid on the Drake Navy Issue does not allow a t2 burst without further gimping the fit.
For a boat that is supposed to have these, I propose a powergrid increase of 2 points to the base of 950 to 952 powergrid.
while everyone is discussing about the changes where i love some changes (for example for my RNI getting finally the range which she has with cruise missiles to lock on) and some which i hate (like for the DNI loosing the shield resistance ā¦ and ā¦ i tested it already on singularity, it is extremely noticeable that the resistance is gone =w=) when comes this on one side nice and on the other side devestating patch out?
DNI losing shield but gaining buttloads of damage is polarizing to some im sure. Truth is the DNI was inferior to a t1 drake in almost all ways except being a brick tank.
This change slots the DNI into a new role. HML platform that has a high volley that actually applies well without tons of mods. It also opens up a utility high.
Losing resists isnt a big deal, the ferox used to have a resist bonus, but they took it away (added a mid) and its still very strong. DNI has the same # of mids, good application/range, so you can easily compensate with invulns.
You can fit a shield link and have a fleet mate fit a shield link with the other charges. Use shield extension and harmonizing charges and the tank is about the same as before.
And with a third fleer mate you can have one information link with the range extension and you dont need to fit a sensor booster ezpz.
To be more precise, according to the number you are giving, a venture will gather in the first 477h of mining approximatively 235M ISK while the Battleship will mine the exact same amout.
477h means you play 4 months 30h per week (5h a day).
So, if you have much more EHP than recquire to ensure surviving 4 months, then the minng BS is a go.
