So, basically fact that Attributes are obscure and undocumented is not as fatal as people trying to paint. Good to leave it in past.
The fact is that the whole EvE consists of elements which needs to be learned to be used effectively. And many of them will bait you in your ass if you don’t (glaring example: faction standings. I lost my first Myrmidon to Caldari Navy Police because i was running Gallente missions and had no ideas that it hurts standings with Caldari and what it leads to. Note: i did take it as new element of the game and didn’t go to forums asking for removal of standings!). And removing something just because it needs to be learned and used to have benefit off it is not proper way IMO.
And prior to skill injection I probably (maybe) would of agreed with you, but now you can ‘simply’ inject some SP to make up for any ‘mistakes made’ with regards to attribute mapping, so it seems to me like they’re kind of pointless now.
If you remove everything which is badly documented we won’t be able to undock.
Still complexity of Attribute system does not look big compared to other parts of the game.
Anyway, i think this argument going circles already. I’m gonna stop. If removing of undocumented and complex systems (which stands for 100% of game elements) is the way this game should move then i am not the one to approve or disapprove it. I had my fun for like 10 years and now i can just let it go.

If you guys seriously start making me worry about having a stupid ****ing accelerator on at all times refreshing it every x days … Just don’t. Leave attributes alone or make training the same rate always with no ridiculous boosters other than the event ones. I don’t want to have to log in “7d 12h 42m” from now to use some pussy booster. I’m omega and I pay so I don’t have to deal with my skill queue.
Also screw that one of the big sellers of low sec and high sec is that you’re way less likely to get podded. How about we let rorquals mine in high sec to compensate? I mean it’s kind of needlessly complex for rorquals to be restricted to security status of a solar system. While we’re at it lets group all the damage and application skills into one skill called “DPS” and then armor shield and structure into “TONK”. We can have another called “SHIP” and it unlocks ships as it levels, titans at level V. I mean it’s kinda needlessly complex to worry about which race I’m specifically training for right?
At pressent, accelerators only come from events dude, we would need weekly events for that outlandish situation to arise or CCP would need to add a permanent ingame source.
What is it with all this over aggression and high drama posturing?
You know how much ■■■■ is already in eve to deal with in terms of logistics? I want peace of mind, not having to stockpile dumb accelerators or go to a hub that sells them every X days. I’m fine with removing attributes but implants for learning speed need to stay or be removed and not replaced. I doubt a newbie would like having to buy a booster every X days either rather than just plugging in an implant once.
