I like that idea. It’s like a permanent suspect flag. They wouldn’t be able to go anywhere NEAR a market hub with their ore/mission loot without getting destroyed. The bot’s loot (which there will be a LOT of) goes to the killer.
Legit alphas use these ships to 1. Make ISK. 2. Buy PLEX off the market. 3. Create a demand for PLEX. 4. Cause other players to PAY CCP for PLEX to replenish their stocks. So, if CCP were to remove alpha access from these ships people would be selling less PLEX to alphas which means CCP makes less.

Well, purchase one months of Omega time and then you can Plex away to your heart’s content later as a subsidized Omega account using the ships you want. The problem is the botters are using those ships to generate huge profits and income through RMT. If you are legitimately claiming that you cannot generate enough seed money to jump start an Omega account, then you have bigger problems. If you are claiming that those ships are used to generate Omega accounts, then your argument is self defeating, since one month’s of Omega time allows you both the ships and isk generating power to maintain Omega status.
okay you want Alpha players to never pay for the game at all okay cuz that’s basically what you did you made it impossible for them to pay now because you’re not capable of finding a better solution

Please explain why it’s impossible to save up while doing things that aren’t lvl 4 missions.

if you want to make enough to pay for your account in one month you have to do level 4 missions every other method it will take longer than a month to pay for your account
Ok, but why do you have to do it in one month as an alpha?
Why is it a problem if it takes longer than one month as Alpha to get enough ISK for 500 plex? After you become Omega you will be able to run those level 4 and 5 missions each month to keep up Omega status, if that is your thing.

Dude you a father now. Stop bitching about L4 loss for alphas, you won’t have time to grind missions anyway. I know what I’m saying because my daughter will be 5 months old soon. On the other side you still may play for free infinitely. What is wrong with people now? Give them a hand and they will want whole arm, leg and liver.

Not being able to use the same gear is basically the same. Unless they want to narrow the Omega restriction to everything Except " I " gear (ex. 5MN Microwarpdrive I)
Problem is in the nature of this game, sandbox/open world without content.
- This game have 16 years, and there are only 4 let’s say “DLC” content avalible on CCP official website, and price -
- Plex packs price -
- Whats the point of having CONCORD and High Sec? -
- Where are new ships, ship redesigns, old useless modules reworks? -
- No control over the market -
- L4 missions now/after 03/12 update -
- FW loyality points/balance -
- Trash in the New Eden Store - apparel???, skins, ect -
- Alpha & Omega clones -
- Skillpoints trading -
- No room for casual play -
- Let people decide what to do with the whole place -
- No restrictions in create new acount / multiboxing -
- Longest proggresion in every game ever created -
- Creating too many ways to derive funds from the game to external services like e-bay -
And that is only few examples why there is so many bots, bacause why not to create corporations and use bots to make real life money while sitting in home and have no job? Because its a sandbox right? People can do what they want with the place

11 is bull****. I’m casual player for almost 6 years now. Since abyss EvE became even more casual. Botting problem flourish with alpha status. I laugh at every alpha whine post about how they don’t get the chance to grind for plex to buy omega. I laugh at every alpha post about how CCP/PA lack of monetization. EvE survive that long because it was different than other games. Plex idea was even copied to WoW.

Wrong. Eve survive that long because od lots of investors money but now after many many many years ccp are sold and must earn his paychecks.

I could almost copy-paste… Just replace Rattlesnake with Nestor and highsec PvE with wormhole documentation.
With this change, I feel as if a lot of my playtime so far has been invalidated. I was also doing SOE L4s (although I were trucking while you were probably doing Security)
But there’s no way I’m going to farm 400000 LP by T3 trucking. Especially now that I’m rank 5-6 with SSoE. And no, I don’t want to “just farm for isk and buy it from the market”. I wanted MY OWN Nestor.
Even though it nets the most isk/h, I don’t want to do ratting just because “it kills people”. I’m “100% snuggly” on zkillboard. That’s how much I like killing.
After the Nestor, my plans were to farm for Omega and apply to Signal Cartel (corp).
You’re not alone.
Seeing as this might imply further restrictions as patches come, the fear of having my time invalidated again even if I decide to start ratting is putting me off.

Alpha clones are actually a problem, but I do not think it’s that big.
At first, I thought it would be like in other games, on a scale, let’s say premium accounts, Omega with access to everything and everywhere, and alpha is just so that you could lick the game to a small extent. But I skip this.
However, you can not miss the fact that there is nothing in the New Eden Store, for clothes that there is no where to watch, skins on ships that are expensive and some nice but stupid look on ships from 10 years ago … with all this content in EvE, there is nothing you can buy on CCP websites. I’m starting to think that CCP can not sell it like in other games.
This means no income for a CCP, but it gives you a great opportunity to withdraw funds from the game, for such a player with a bot in the real world.

You have 0 knowledge about CCP profits. EvE actually fuel other projects. It has steady income. Any changes to cater wider crowd would kill sandbox in a blink of an eye. Huge titles fell from market while EvE is still here.
I don’t care that you can’t comprehend why alphas are problem. Botting VNIs in NS disagree with you, for free, without other payments, 24/day.
SP trading is on what CCP make money now, beside plex and subs.
THIS is so much true. Warframe has several great examples of what “premium deals” should be. Also, no botting. I don’t know how they detect them, though. The game is also grindy and it’s possible to afk-farm using bots.
If using the Hadean OS becomes a reality, it would be a shame not to let a whole bunch of new, real people join by making the game a real F2P.
I know, I know… Too many new players at once = screwed economy after a month. No current player would like that period. That’s why this should be an option only after bots are out of the game.

Compared EVE to Warframe, but that’s a young game.
