No, we’re just skeptical.

Who the hell was spinning those lies at you?

I agree with most of the changes, but a few bug me.

First being more titan nerfs. these ships are supposed to be the most badass weapons in the game. but all the changes seem to be aimed at hobbling them down to 100 billion isk jump bridges. These ships are supposed to be the most fearsome weapons you can wield, you nerfed the AOE doomsdays because pilots complained they were too hard to fight. Well isn’t that the point of a titan? that its supposed to be a bitch to try to take one on? then you nerfed the doomsdays so they couldn’t target subcapitals, you realized that was mistake and made the boson and lance weapons, appropriately scaled down. now your talking about nerfing the ship even further by removing HAW weapons. at what point are you sacrificing the ships in game role, to appease the PVP community about making them easier to kill? It’s supposed to be the type of ship that makes every pilot collectively ■■■■ themselves when it lands on grid, not the type of ship you think of as an afterthought.

Two: more rorqual nerfs…I can get behind it to a point. they do need to be nerfed down to make exhumers more viable again but more tank nerfs? really? you already dropped the multiple ancil reps, which crippled a rorq from being able to tank the hundred man loki gangs that hunt them. now you’re gonna nerf the tank again? They are already dying in droves all over new eden, think you definitely need to be rethinking that change.

There will be no point to using a rorq, or even mining in null. You will be better off in hi sec.

I saw that watching a Goon propaganda film at my reeducation camp in HS.

Once again, both of these comments are the reason that nobody uses these forums to give legitimate complaints. (I’m in null and these changes are perfectly fine with me, but that doesn’t mean the opinions of those that feel it isn’t fair don’t matter.)

Because there are people who devoted their time and effort to fly frigates, cruisers, battleships, mining barges etc. People who fly solo or in small gangs. People who PAY their subscription and are treated like second class citizens cause they cannot compete in this medium where ratting/mining/PvP is dictated by how big is your ship.

But what it’s degenerating into is a CCP- and CSM-slagging hatefest - if you seriously mean what you say, address that instead.

I have ran about 10 incursions in the entire 13 years I’ve played eve online. I also haven’t lived in a wormhole much at all, I’m primarily a solo player.

You can still avoid getting killed in a Super/Carrier by good use of intelligence channels, and having backup present in system and in a standing fleet that can support you through your cynosural field if you choose to fit it. It’s much more risky if you don’t have perfect intel in adjacent systems or have cosmic signatures in system probed down as you might get surprised by a forward interceptor.

You can rat just fine. If the loss of a Carrier is unacceptable to you and requiring intel or backup in a system to use a capital ship, then prehaps you should consider a subcapital alternative such as Rattlesnakes and Ishtars.

You can mine just fine too, A boosted Hulk after the mining foreman buff on industrial core from a Rorqual now mines almost half a Rorqual does on paper, and probably more once you take into account drone travel time. You don’t need to use capital ships to mine.

You don’t need to run Incursions. Feel free to make your ISK through a vast assortment of other methods in the game.

You’re not forced to use capital ships.

Goonwarm must have really great programmers if they’ve figured out how to automate lighting cynos, talking in mumble, and getting bot super carriers to jump to the tackled bot.

Correct - Goons have fleet upon fleet of these exact ships which now make less isk per hour and mine less than they did before. They are more heavily invested, and will be directly impacted more than anybody else because they were doing more than anybody else.

Regardless, it all gets back to what I said before - you need to figure out what it is that you care the most about - ratting in a carrier or the money you make doing it.

sadly you will be right.

miners allways had the short end of the stick now it got shorter.
rorqual will be turned into a glorified Bulkhead capable of storeing 300.000m3 ore and thats about it.

hell even the orca is better than the rorqual now and soon they proboly nerf that too.

CSM dont play the game like normal players do and proboly got elected through Power house Alliances and we normal simpletons will pay the price.

Our way of Life in eve will be shut down and bio mass of our toons will be our escape out.
this madness has gone on long enough.

That seems very unlikely.

It’s the circle of salt :stuck_out_tongue:

So when are they going to make the Excavator costs more inline with their greatly reduced capability? Not once have the material requirements changed despite many double digit percentage nerfs.

I like the HAW nerf and i like the FAX nerf.
But this is not nearly enough to avoid supers from popping subcaps at a very rapid rate and you know it:
Change: Increase explosion radius for all fighter attacks by 15%. Reduce explosion velocity for all fighter attacks by 30%.
That is all.

It’s really just the one bit that keeps the prices up. Make the rare drop less rare, the prices come down.

I feel like we’ve moved past that, and the CSM have started posting some really good replies now. Legitimate debates going on from everyone else lol.

I agree with this point of view. I think there is a bit of a split in the community right now in fact. CCP seems to be wanting to phase out a certain portion of its player base to replace it with a newer crowd more eager to solve problems and adapt to change by “just pick up a couple injectors brah”.
