Devblog: Spring Balance Update Incoming!

If you think banning players without any actual evidence of wrongdoing doesn’t send a message that the little guys are even more unprotected…

This is the first time I’ve ever heard anybody unironically say that CCP was doing things specifically to help wormholers.

The only way the Widow can be ok is if it can block it’s own friggin target.

there we gooo pay 2 win good job ccp

I still don’t understand your question. What do you mean by “how long?”

He’s asking what the average time to clear a Sanctum will be, I think.

they don’t care… i’m not suprise, i just hope subs drop at the point CCP realise they’re making a big mistake doing these kind of nerfs

Great changes overall EXCEPT for the mobile depot/excavator volume nerf.

Rorqs under umbrellas are not affected while your average joe sneaking around in the middle of the night in lowsec with one is in trouble.

Ticks, how long to clear a heaven, you know, the thing everyone talks about all the time, how we make a living in the game to pew pew.

Oh they will. This is a huge mistake they wont be able to come back from.

Agreed, limit the core use to 1 within 250 km would be a solution instead of nerfeing it.

You don’t get it at all. The overall effect on the large alliances will be Zippo, as Brisc says they will just adapt, where the smaller entities can not. It is not I drinking the Koolaid man. When you can field a mix of 500+ Titans and supers into a fight. Tell me exactly how you counter that, your faxes are inconsequential on both sides, as they are basically just extended tanks for the before mentioned. You might end up losing a few more supers and titan’s but you have pretty much hit critical mass. As far as the Rorqs go, go read the monthly economic report, the changes there will do nothing major to the larger Entities, just the smaller ones that dont have an effective CAP Umbrella, and the Bots, will just adapt and go on botting their minerals. Capital Ships (especially Titans and Supers) were never designed to be trained into as rapidly as they can now, or be fielded in the numbers that can be fielded now. The direction that CCP take their Cap nerfs are only ever really going to affect smaller entities unless they actually make the skill training mean something again, and make a hard limit of how many of those Particular Caps can be on grid, or in System. Then people may start using proper support fleets as fleet battles are intended.

OR even better idea… CCP You did that strange mining ledger thingy right?

Make it work, do some thing like mining amount penality, x per week and above that Rorq pilot can’t use mining bonuses of the ship, only boost to other ships will apply at this point. Like jump fatigue or something similiar to it.

Pack this in fine lore friendly stuff, like maybe automated massage from" This is your friendly neighbor CONCORD officer, We monitored your actions in moon mining area like other areas of New Eden life and we noticed that your clone neural interfaces are damaged and can’t be plugged to ship with mining capabilities for xx time until recovery. bla bla bla"

You have digits, know the problem. ^^

So Living out in null sec and been thru a lot of rebalancing patches and you never do what is needed. One stop listening to the cry babies. Two look at the kill mails and, and see which ship are just over powering. 3 if we bring 10 FAX ships to save one don’t nerf them . 4 fix high sec to improve the safety of peeps 5 WORK HARDER ON KILLING BOTTING

Agree with most changes.

But a 20% rorq mining nerf is overkill. The problem with mining wasn’t how fast the rorq’s were sucking down rocks, it is the unlimited supply of rocks (thanks to anomalies/etc) combined with how safe rorqs were.

Lets start with just making rorqs more vulnerable and upping respawn rates on mining anoms, but not touching their mining amount. See how it goes for 2 months and then change mining amount if that didn’t solve the problem. Remember these things are expensive and have been nerfed twice before without reducing their cost.
