Exactly, I agree 100%
That would be really good to get rid of those annoying 0.01 isk traders.
Why? The Universe is changing. The existence should change too.
Why is this change being made?
I want to know the reason behind it.
Please explain what the GOAL is for this change.
Devs must have some REASON for making a change, otherwise why do it?
So enlighten us, please.
Someone please explain what this is supposed to be good for o.O
you pay (let round for the quick of it)
40mil isk for vessel and fit and then when said vessel is destroyed and 20 mill drops and 20 mil is destroyed and the 300k is insurance is paid out how is the 300k replacing the unrecovered 20mil isk?
Well to make it safer. Concord ships run on fumes. Drifter menace etc. etc.
So CCP just invented another way of selling more PLEX, and the good news here is that more seem to be comming. There will be a time when my ISK wallet will be empty and that will be when I unsub.
Great move CCP !
I couldnât agree more with this
CCP is screwing over industrial players yet again! 75%-85% of the items/modules built by players are already not covering mineral cost to build the items/modules and what does CCP do? Screw over the indistrial players even more by increasing the taxes!
CCP is making it very clear with this tax increases and with the enbalance in the game that CCP does not want industrial players here any more. These changes are just making it very clear that is time to find another game to play.
Since most items/modules I build/list have a very narrow profit margin (5%-12%) these changes are going to require increased price but that wonât happen because stupid players figuring their minerals are free. CCP has really kill my play style today and made it very clear they donât want me here any more.
Increase taxes are very big crap⌠why should i pay more tax ? Only to make CCP more rich⌠BAD MOVE GUYS
When we talk about faucets and sinks weâre referring to the total isk pool in the game. When you buy a ship and fit, your isk leaves your wallet and goes to someone elseâs, minus a small tax which is an isk sink (less total isk pool). When your ship is destroyed, no isk leaves the total isk pool. Insurance pay outs increase the total isk pool in eve, thus they are an isk faucet.
Agree 100%
Last Talking in stations podcast Hilginger basically said " We want chaos" That is pretty much his way of saying screw explaining things to players. They are the Devs. They can and will do anything they want when they want. It is even covered in the EULA.
So good or bad we are out of the loop. Now they just push changes like monkeys pushing buttons and we either adapt or quit. They no longer care about player opinion.
CCP âEve is a sandbox MMO where you play the game your wayâ
Also CCP " You are not playing the game how we want you to "
Make up your minds nerds.
Excellent, nicely done.
CCP make it so.
Another case of treating systems instead of the cause. If BOTs are flooding the markets, do something directly about BOTS. Null Sec blackout to stop bots is like shotgun to do brain surgery. Raise taxes to hit everyone; hit the BOTS! Why dont you simply have a pop up question every 15 minutes that requires a human to answer. Simple math, what letter is red, who the hell cares what but if you get it wrong your drones or fighters stop fighting. Google a bit programmers: https://qz.com/745104/easy-questions-that-computers-are-terrible-at-answering/ this isnt rocket scienceâŚbut perhaps it is at ccp.
Itâs an ISK sink. They want to get ISK out of the system in order to stave off ISK devaluation/PLEX inflation.
So they think making less profit will make me give cheaper prices?
Not that iâd be surprised at this pointâŚ
Nobody cares about taxes. The important part in trading is the broker fee now (since the last increase). This is going to the cartel.
Would certainly be a more direct way to reduce liquidity in the market.
