We already have that. They are called Border Anomalies…
This video is all about solo mining in a Rorqual. The comments are filled with people talking about their own experiences solo mining in null sec. One person even calls it “casual mining in null.”
Just pointing out that giant corps are all about the carebear mining in null
Yeah but they created that kind of environment with effort, investment, dedication. And it can be taken away from them by force if someone else is even more dedicated and even more willing to put effort and money into a campaign blow all that stuff up.
In HS you are mechanically protected by an unbeatable CONCORD force that removes all hostiles within 20 seconds, you have on AoE damage or AoE tackle to fear and have a local for free intel about who is there with you. Nobody can throw a cynoblob on you and the only rules you need to stick to so you are 99.9% safe are not more than a handful, which can be learned on one day.
That being said: HS isn’t really “more dangerous than 0.0”, it’s just full of lazy, stupid and entitled players who have no ambition to get any better in the game. And those are - rightfully - blown up left and right.
High-sec ore composition needs to revert back to where it once was.
While that would be nice, the value of those ores would drop significantly.
Yeah, I’d rather be in High Sec than in Null with a bunch of self-important and egotistical players. There is nothing special about the Null Sec players who continuously spout off nonsense like you just did.
New players always forget that there are consequences for what they ask for.
It would help to balance things again.
bumped this to EVE Technology and Research Center > Player Features & Ideas as this isn’t a suggestion for the forums.
