I understand CCP is a business, and everybody needs to make a living.
The problem is not the genuine players, we get hit with the nerf hammer everytime.
Just remove PLEX and skill injectorsā¦ all problems solved
No more 1 day old chars botting 24/7.
And CCP should make real work to hunt down the bots and finally do something about it.

Thatās a race they are bound to lose. So, thatās wasted money.
Do you want CCP to spend money to chase after bots and fail, or do you want CCP to spend money to fix the infrastructure ? Choose one.
Problem of every game is bots, be successful in banning them, and the whole community will be better off.

Get rid of Alpha to remove the bots? Wouldnāt get rid of them all and I believe that as much as there are a great number of people who stay Alpha to avoid playing it does also bring in more people who move up to Omega so thatās a no-go really.
Or maybe they could work harder to catch the bots? Sure, but how hard is that? It is like everything else, for every solution there is someone who will find 2 new scams/dodges or whatever so thatās being done as it can I guess too.
Yes, remove PLEX & Injectors! No, wait. With how the game economy works that wouldnāt be a good idea and without injectors etc the āmaxing-outā time for a standard, non-implanted Omega is whatā¦?.. 22 years or something impossible? Ok, not that one thenā¦
I really do get your point but to clarify mine - it isnāt so much about the bots or anything like that. I am just sick of all the whining now from people who were taking advantage of a well-intentioned-but-massively-exploited addition to the game that has since been made much less (and very sensibly so) profitable for people to be able to afk-farm.
Or maybe you could, like, I donāt know, actually give the company some money, to PLEX your account? If it is THAT important to you.
Gosh, they already give you a way to do it by just playing the game but you still have the balls to complain because it takes too much time.

Itās always the same thing, bot exploit things, then the nerf hammer comes in and hits the genuine players.
Bots mining in high secā¦ => nerf mining
bots running conduits => nerf conduits
etc. etc. How many examples do you need ?
Itās a never ending story. So if the root cause doesnāt get tackledā¦ it will be another thing in 6 months.
It canāt be that hard to catch botsā¦ look at young accounts, follow activity and then follow the money trailā¦ Iām pretty sure if you have access to the players activity data it canāt be very hard to find outā¦
Iām sure many people reported 1 day old chars plying rattlesnakes, running conduits 24/7ā¦ but what gets doneā¦ nothing!!, instead of banning these accountsā¦ right nerf the content for everyoneā¦
And yes Iām against plexā¦ this should not exist, same for injectors if you can spend $$ you can have better skills, this is just nonsense imhoā¦ train skills like anyone else and waitā¦
And here it gets to another discussion if the wait time is reasonable or not, but thatās another discussion.
But again, I think itās stupid if you allow skill injectors, that in the end comes only down to who has the biggest wallet. Let everyone play for 15$ a month, no pay no gameā¦ and remove all the other crap, so at least you have a level playing field.

By using my two little braincells 
- CCP get botting reportsā¦ They can seroulsly look at these chars for a start.
- Iām sure CCP can use google ābuy isk eve onlineā - they can purchase some isk, and see where the isk came from. Follow the money trailā¦ not only banning the selling account but research where the isk came from, might highlight tons of isk bot income
- Database analytics, could also highlight unusual activity, worth further investigation.

732 account bans for account hacking.
2822 account bans for botting related activities.

Where is the report on bans from October, November, December ? Since you are a fan of skill injectors, need to keep banning these account all the timeā¦ No skill injectors no 1 day chars that can run conduits with battleshipsā¦

I get your point and while I might not personally agree with some of the points I do get what youāre saying.
You also make some points that I do agree with but here is the problem - I donāt work for CCP. Iām guessing you donāt either but you might but that isnāt the thing here. You see, I know about a lot of the issues, really I do. I do agree with a great deal of your points. But - and this is what it comes down to I think - I just donāt know what the answer is. Not even a bloody guess at how to fix it once and for all. None of it.
If I did I would be rich enough to buy the bloody game and fix it myself having fixed the exact same issues in every single other online MMO cos this isnāt just a CCP/EVE thing, it is rife throughout ALL of them. But I donāt know how to fx it, CCP donāt, Bethesda donāt, Blizzard donāt - nobody does because it is just not that easy.
Having said that, do I personally think āthey should do moreā? Fk yes I do! Why do I think that? Because I am playing this game and it pisses me off personally but I donāt care about the bots in ESO cos I donāt play that. When I did play it I was just as pissed off about those bots but they werenāt āfixedā and it pissed me off and now I am playing this the bots āhereā piss me off. But that is the problem - the botters piss off everyone in whatever game they happen to be playing at that time and yet none of the companies have the solutionā¦

Seriously CCP needs to figure this out, either provide content where we can earn ISK with a decent risk vs reward (Like a real sandbox). Or we will bleed players while micro transactions are shoved in our face. I thought the emerging conduits were a nice balance of risk vs reward and the only good thing that came out of the invasion update. And here they go showing how greedy CCP can really be.
