Did CCP secretly nerf Emerging Conduit as of today?

Care to explain?

Care to explain what?

Why you think 150/hour * 3 accounts at no real risk and no large fleet needed (which brings it’s own risks) is balanced

There is man. It is what some of us refer to as “nullsec”.

I have already made the point before but log into the game, open your map with f10 and zoom out then look at HOW MUCH nullsec there is compared to how little highsec there is. You want content, community, risk/reward that makes sense as well as interesting things, learning experiences, fun and
dude, just shut up and try nullsec before you try bitching about no content etc. All you are saying is “there is not masses of flashing lights and torrents of isk flowing into my wallet while I afk in a 1.0sec system” without actually going and trying the VAST amount of content there already bloody is!

IMO it was not easy to start, and kinda hard to master. I was doing ±200M/h but that needed all my attention on one toon, so I could not go with 3 toons.
Sometimes I went with friend, but he was not
very nervous, so the activity I was doing was too nerve-wrecking (double rep vindi was safe but you would be eventually neuted if you were too slow).
I remember the

-Okay we done, next ?
-Wait I need to let my heart cool down, I did not think that eve was so hard.
-we were in chill mode yet
to go faster we need to remove one rep.
-maybe tomorrow

I also told friends I was doing it, they tried with gila/confessor and died (I was the one paying the ships so I got the kms). Also a barghest which I had given for something completely different(also got the km).

All in all it was good content, challenging for most people (when you want to do it in a decent time), which was what made it interesting. Then of course if the reward does not follow, may as well do anomalies and escalation for 60M/h in HS.

It’s like the drifter events, the sleeper event, the white dwarf event : you can do it tanky, and you can do it interesting. The events where I had a few KM before doing it right were the most interesting, IMO. In conduits I did not have, but friends did  I indirectly lost 5B in the event

The effect globalisation has on social mobility

What do you think I’m asking you to explain? Look at the quoted part you melon head.

How do you figure emergent conduits were a nice balance of risk vs reward?

I would agree with you about 10 years ago. Most multiplayer games now a days have a queue system for the bulk of group content. Technically its group play but many treat it like solo play.

Eve is not a game for queued instance content. So, how does this new age of semi solo players enjoy a game like Eve?

Well we find ways to fit ships to do content like emerging conduits solo. Multiboxing for mining efficiency, and so on. Understandable that some are not thrilled with the change to emerging conduits. More work dealing with botters and less nerfing the content due to botters would help.

Most gaming companies making multiplayer games are smart enough to start with content that the less social can still enjoy. For those that want to step up their gaming experience for more serious group content have those options as well. Eve should get with the program.

Really good idea - please do explain how this would be done as it seems you have the answers and I am sure they would really fkn appreciate your input on how to achieve that.

Don’t you mean botters and the people who

Pretty sure I don’t need to add anything else

You don’t. Why would you play a game which makes significant sacrifices in single-player experience to support the multiplayer elements instead of playing a good single-player game instead?

Post 333, tl;dr So Far:

If you are playing for fun it doesn’t matter what they did.
If you are trying to plex your account you need to get a real job.

Pls Continue.

Dude, this guy literally said that he leave because he can’t have a premium account with no efforts anymore.

Even you shouldn’t want him here, since you constantly pretend that CCP will listen to you and your friends because “you are the ones who generate their money”, why would you want people who refuse to give any money and any efforts in your team?

Because they are kiddos who play online games for the E-Pen, which explain the need for big ISK and big ships that they will never use to their full potential, but in the same time show some lack of social skills, explaining why they don’t ACTUALLY want to interact with other humans playing the game.

That, or all the stories and negative experiences with interacting with the community makes them solo.

Yeah, that’s ridiculous to be honnest.

I mean it would be like deciding to never go in the street again because sometimes you meet assholes in the streets.

I’ve been doing EC and was ratting happily with a good payout. The current changes has been harder to chain them continuously, but I don’t really mind. With the changes, less people are farming them, so now I can just chain them over 3 systems without worry.

The nerf to the drop rates is definitely a hit, but it’s still ok with 50% less drops. I believe it is still something that can be done for an hour or so, before doing something else. Some instant PVE like EC and Abyssal is welcomed by hi sec dwellers.

Missions are boring after a while. Hi sec anomalies are too dependent on luck for a good payout. So EC was a great addition.

That actually does happen, in real life. Heck, one of the mates I fly with refuses to fly with strangers because “he doesn’t trust anyone” in eve. You’d be surprised how an image changes the behavior of people. Take red flag laws as an example.

Then tell your friend to grow up?

Like missions? Or exploration?

He’s more grown up than you. He’s just someone who is normal and sensible. People are always putting out stories about how they scammed someone or baited some noob into a system where their pals were waiting for an easy gank. Etc. Eve is -the- game with the most scams, liars, and all sorts of ridiculous crap going on. Of course people coming in from the outside are gonna engage in avoidant play styles.

For goodness’ sake, people don’t even want to respond in local like 90% of the time and I’ll have others tell me reasons why they shouldn’t. If you can’t even open your mouth without risk of attracting a group of gankers to harass you in game, then what’s the point of fleeting up with people only for them to open fire on you in betrayal because that was their original intent?
