I already told you I have no DED/LP stock.
I also have no T2 stock except my small backup reserve to replace losses.
T2 is the baseline balance for PvP in EVE, both in stats and cost.
If you want a bling DED/LP, buy/get one.
If you want a super-bling module, or have very specific needs, buy a mutated DED/LP module.

While I agree with you, it also has to do with the kind of threads we find here. This one is a prime example. On reddit Salvos would have already been banned a hundred times for repeating the same post. It does not happen here and so the Forums are filled to the brim with threads which continue for another 200 - 300 posts after everything has already been discussed ad nauseam.
CCP would need serious manpower and they’d absolutely need to enforce very strict posting rules to make these forums even useable for the average player.
And I still ask you, why do you want Faction modules included as a Mutaplasmid option?

If T2 items would get a higher demand ppl would simply build more. I hardly see a heavy impact.
I dont see how there will be a significant impact. Depending on the item DED can be vastly better than a T2 with bonuses. It will help alot for all the modules that dont have DED/Faction counterparts.

I’ll just make this one observation… If most players are really ‘space poor’, then the last thing they should be doing is gambling with mutaplasmids (be it T1, T2, Faction or Deadspace).
Statistically the odds are not in your favor to get a lucky roll, so if players are counting on that 1 in a million lottery result they’re going to be sorely disappointed (and broke).
There are players (and I do not count myself among these) where bricking 20-30 Faction or Deadspace modules to get a perfect result is a drop in the bucket.

The problem is not just the impact on T2, its also the impact on DED/LP markets.
Do we:
A) Want T2 modules sunk off the market/bricked to produce mutated T2 modules?
B) Want mutated T2 modules stepping on the DED/LP module market?

Mutated T2 modules detract from the DED/LP module market, by offering an option of bling modules that have been the arena of DED/LP module market.
T2 modules can be created on demand, DED/LP modules can only be sourced via effort.
A market of mutated T2 modules, stands to depreciate demand on DED/LP module markets, AND inversly increase demand on T2 modules, as they are bricked in effort to create a desired module mutation.
T2 stands to benefit.
DED/LP only stands to lose.
Can you offer a few examples of where creating a MT2 with DED/LP module base stats will be cheaper than buying the DED/LP right away? Thanks.
Mutaplasmids need to be sourced via effort too.

Given what we know about mutaplasmids as they are now, will you apply them to T1, T2 or DED/LP modules? And why?
It is logical.
Far moreso than messing with the T2 market, with intrusion into the DED/LP market.
