Discussion about Moderation

Another baseless claim that I have a mental disorder.

Apparently I am:

Salvos the Terrible, Prince of Trolls, Wrecker of Threads.
Mention not His name, for Despair follows in his wake.

C’mon…
If that was true, Id have been long gone by now.

I know some of you want a scapegoat to distrac/misdirect from what you are doing yourselves, but this is getting ridiculous.

It’s an imaginary claim, based on someone’s imagination, and thus technically not truly baseless, but only unreal.

You’ve got … salvosed!

Make up your minds, people.

Am I:

  1. An unstoppable insane trolling mastermind, the likes of which the internet has never seen.

OR

  1. Just a guy/player like everyone else, whom happens to enjoy posting and discussing EVE.

I vote option 3. I’m not a huge fan of black&white.

  1. You are Salvos Rhoska.

I thought it was considered a disability, specifically a learning disability.
Sort of like dyslexia, only with non-verbal cues rather than letters.

ASD = Autism Spectrum Disorder
The effects of the disorder, are disabling.

And no, I dont have it.

Unlike some that “self-diagnose” the disorder, I’ve actually been professionally tested/screened (at my own request), and the result was negative. I can say definitively that I do not have ASD, or any condition on that spectrum.

Ofc, its possible, according to some here, that I’m such a trolling super-genius, that I fooled them all.

welcome to the “getting right up in there” club.
i am regularly accused of being a sociopath when my game is good.

that said , lads , the whole thread this is Falcon bait ,and bordering on going ugly so temper yer posting if you enjoy the privilege.

I have an alt for that.

And, yes OP admitted this was bait.

This made me curious, if not a secret that is, could you tell why you had requested yourself to be tested for such?

I guess I’m safe to assume you didn’t just wake up one morning and said to yourself “what a fine morning, let’s go to the doctor and do some tests”.

You can wash it but the stain will never leave.

It was during a period of clinical depression/existential angst in my early 20s.
The testing process is pretty extensive/comprehensive, btw.
Asperger’s was becoming a “thing” then, and I wanted to cover all my bases.

Yet another title:

Salvos, Stainer of Souls.

Id add these to my profile as they pile up, but some people seem to take these things rather too seriously.

Any publicity is good publicity I guess  I imagine at some point you wanted to make EvE even easier or something.

That’s why I used to run several accounts, all operating with different levels of normality. Now that I’m back I stopped caring and am still trying to figure out what level of sociopath and normality I want to be at, EVE wise. The more dissapointed I become with the game, its players and community the darker I go.

Good to see some of the old guard returning.
Even if it is as cynical auld gits.
Get your fabulazor eye back mate you look like a pleb.

Only in your opinion, which you then expressed in very colorful ways. However, if people would actually pay attention, they would know that I rarely ever want to make things easier, in stark contrast to those who accuse me of that goal. And in the cases where I really want things to be easier, it is only to make them better usable, easier to access, better to understand and to get rid of their stupid design flaws (latest example: the Agency and the maps)

In your case I’ll agree. You seem incapable of replying to a post without throwing insults around.

In another thread you accused someone of having dyslexia because of spelling mistakes (did you consider that English might not be his/her first language?) Then you mentioned brain cancer because you didn’t agree with a post of theirs.

CCP should never have relaxed the moderation or let banned players return.

Well, it sure read sometimes like you fixated on something to the point of ridiculousnes.

If I would spent so much time on irrelevant disputes about unimportant stuff, I would ask myself, “what about my life… what it has become… am i starting to become an old, sad, alone, bitter biscuit?”

You should demand a second opinion. This doctor was broken, obviously.

Considering the general mess of real-world politics and societal developments, I argue that this is just a reflection of the general dissatisfaction that manifests both in Salvos’ as well as behaviors of individuals like Quake or others. There’s only so much bovine waste that you can and want to stomach before you look for someone or something to vent it on.
