Well, its logic, if your neighbourhood will turn very dangerous and no police wanting to come to your rescue, you may want to change the neighbourhood or leave the city. Thats all. Thats whats the situation in game for people in high sec.
Ever experienced a road blocked by bullies that take money from small children or beat them?
Jita to Amarr is 10 jump in high sec⦠now with Niarja gone is 48 jump instead in high sec⦠why this is a good change? I donāt understand but alright I guess I dont go Amarr ever again thenā¦
Solving for Trigs is easy by shooting a little of edencom noobs, you just need to get past players.
For many not moaning on the forums we have jump clones and ships in trade hubs. People moving items are the biggest winners here since they charge per jump.
Also, ahead of people writing that high sec should fight, the battle was fought and if it will be lost, then its no way to stay āin that neighbourhoodā for some people. Cause the result will be permanently dangerous location. CCP doesnt want anyone contesting fortresses or final liminalities.
What was 9 jumps is now maybe 45, in that time that person would do a lot more before change.
Whats with the rest of stuff that have to be moved? May be produced on the place, but thats a lot of investment. Maybe moved with more ships, but thats also investment, may be tried to be moved thru dangerous space, thats also bigger investment.
A lot of time and money wasted to be in the point where we had been before.
And behind the stage, Hilmar rubs his hands together vigorously, laughing, like a happy merchant.
I have always thought the factions should be broken apart by low sec space. However, I always thought that it should have been done through Faction Warfare spilling into high sec, turning it into low sec. I think it would have made better lore.
These Trig invasions are dumb and I have a really hard time understanding the lore behind it and the randomness of systems invaded. I realize it has something to do with mining the suns, but with so much focus on Trigs, many other parts of the game are being left behind.
We noted quite a few complaining and whining about it, both sides have spies after all.
That is an assumption, however I can confirm that some are very happy with this event and some are most definitely not. I also noticed that in this fight some Trig aligned players were ganked.
It is easy to move though that system if you put your mind to it, no bubblesā¦
The reason is that Amarr will become a proper market in itās own right.
I donāt know why anyone will think having one viable market was a good thing. In any case it creates interesting change.
Yep.
AG players were split on our attitudes, there were some that went and defended Niarja and there were others that stood back and let the dice fall. I almost put some alts in on the Trig side, but decided to just let the dice roll in the end.
Getting away from a single market place like Jita is a win for me, which is what the effect of this event is. Let the Amarr market now develop!
If Amarr becomes itās own stand alone market detached from JITA that that would be another plus point for this event.
People will always whine. Gankers, haulers, missioners, casuals, whatever⦠when it impact their game play. I know I whined when the watch lists was removed. I whine when CCP makes changes without thinking about the impact on other parts of the game.
There was a lot of effort put into it tho. Still you can lose if you give 110% from yourself. Maybe its time to move on then.
At the end, its someones decision to think CCP shoud, or should not be rewarded with that person cash or not, for the changes they make to the game, that turn out some way, maybe not preferable for that person. Cant speak for everyone.
