Discussion Of The Implications Of Niarja's Invasion

This is becoming a copypasta

I haven’t seen a single ganker complain about niarja going to trigs.

I assumed they’d be pretty happy for it to turn trig since they’ve been ganking Edencom everywhere else.

lol didn’t understand
its 5.0 right?

For fast travelers your alternates are to travel through Rancer > Evati low sec route, or second shortest is through Vecamia, about 25 jumps iirc as apposed to 40 jumps.

I think I had one of my AG alts logged in Niarja.
Feck it. I’ll wait. I don’t want to lose that catalyst. They’re expensive.

CCP set up a stream yesterday to laugh at everyone running around that circus, and to show to the world what mess thay have caused and so peeps will again write in news about EVE.

They are pulling the strings and every player in game will have to dance now.

That is nothing new. They have always done that. However, what is new now is that people work on this who are absolutely coding, programming and gameplay experience and balancing incompetent, and CCP flaunts this incompetence as if it was one of their strengths.

So a few things

  1. Players are deciding the fate of Niarja, if you dont like it, you should have fleeted up.
  2. This will make traffic interesting this might even make Berta, and Rens more favorable trade hubs
  3. HTFU
  4. CCP reserves the right to add some lore to change things. Remember that whole fanfest cinematic revolving around player build jump gates? Maybe it’s high time players built a jump gate from Domain region to Genesis region.
  5. THIS IS NOT OLD CONTENT, if your corp / alliance / friends are complaining about this, it has been going on for several months. Pay attention!

or leave.

There are two options.

I thought so, but it would be so convenient it may come after the whole invasion content is over and no more systems invaded. Also there would have to be something to be conected.

Making whole high sec a null sec is completely ridiculous idea and will only get rid of majority of players, and reduce the attractiveness for new ones.

So if that scripted invasion is over, you may expect some gates to be bult, but they will cost ya leg and arm, and you will pay each time you pass, while before that it was free.

Do you like big taxes or low taxes? Mind it, that all that tax will always go to one pocket, not yours. Mind it, the amount of people willing to pay higher taxes may be a lot lower.

Its 0.4 now, am I reading that right?

This is what CCP banks on with every new change they implement in Eve. They want more free press which is free advertisement for them.

Yeah the system has gone into First/Escalating Liminality so is now Low Sec space.

Interesting times

What’s with all the “majority of players leaving” stuff every time the game gets a change that reaches beyond the addition of a new art asset or a spelling error fix in an item description?

The majority of players doesn’t even know what Niarja is.

They know what null sec and low sec is.

“I guess I can’t navigate through that sector anymore!”

“■■■■ YOU CCP FOR NOT LETTING ME TRAVEL ANYWHERE TAKE YOUR GAME AND SHOVE IT!!”

Which of those sentiments is the more likely one expected to come from the “majority” of players? You know, the one that consists of people coming home from their jobs, and mining rocks in the same belt or running missions from the same agent for 3 hours?
