Discussion Of The Implications Of Niarja's Invasion

Ok, but I’d be more worried about the triangles tbh

It’s easy to just convince the triangles to not shoot you.

Try saying anything to the instalocking ganker in Niarja, pointing your capsule.

Well, the most elite gankers in the game crying in the forums like a newb wich covetor just exploded is something I didn´t expected to see.

Just tell them you would like to purchase a hauling permit, please. The “please” is important, don’t forget that part.

I wasn’t around at launch, but I am taking your word for it. I was there for the very moment of Eve Echoes launch. The insane rush to recreate Jita in an empty verse is hysterical. All gates leading into Jita are either throttled or closed, have been since day 2. The sight of all the ships in space trying to jump through the gates has become its own tourist attraction! So you see, Jita own success has cut it off from the rest of New Eden in Echoes. And still, trade is getting through - and people are loving it. Its a sandbox, kick back and enjoy the ride! If you think you all have problems, try hanging on a gate for an hour just to even jump to Jita!

Its a simulation, right? Well, I cant stop people from messing with me in this reality, why should I be able to do it in a sandbox? I mean I can do my best, pick safe places to live and work. But in the end, some dickhead with a habit can pop me for 20 clams. Freewill has to mean the freedom to be an asshole to others. So the choice is ultimately just that, one of freewill versus pre-destiny. Do you want a sandbox, or a console pve game.

The answer of the majority might surprise you…

I guess that is my point, it doesn’t matter what the answer of the individual is. By its own admission the intention of the creators of Eve Online and now Eve Echoes was and is to create a sandbox. So regardless of how many people dont like it, they will need to get over it or just pony up and buy that game console. Like it or not, Eve is a creation…which means its creators decide what it is and is not. The ultimate freedom you have, perhaps not the ability, but you do have the freedom - is to simply learn to code and create your own simulation. Everything else is wasted blah blah.

Or, they can instead whine their asses off on the forums until they’re given what they want. Especially since they can see that their strategy is paying off.

The politics of a simulation as vast and complex as Eve is fascinating. You have this whole meta level going on, above the fray of the factions fighting in-game for money and glory. The arguments of the gods, you could almost say.

But in the end wasting time complaining about something you did not create, do not own - and can never possibly create…well, thats the ultimate foolishness.

I think it is perhaps an illusion that the gods of Eve care that much about what goes on in this forum. CCP is attempting to paint a grand masterpiece. Such a work of art simply is what it is. In fact, I doubt anyone in this entire forum is really even slightly in the know regarding what motivates the leadership of CCP.

Brother, their motivation for all these changes is to milk as much money from this game as they can.

yes, it was horrible.
Nullsec is better, anything is better realy.

Those ‘pvp is the only valid playstyle for eve and ever other playstyle has to go’ fools here are too stupid to realize that they dig their own grave with it…

Well ‘recycling produces enough minerals for production,no miners needed’ right?

Well NOW even recycling goes down because not enough pve will be done…

Where will the minerals come from?

Ah i guess ccp will spend every of the remaining players a big bunch of minerals out of thin air right?

Because this demand WILL come if even the last FOOL will realize that my prediction will be correct as so many times in the past 15 years.

Don’t forget…i’m just a troll for some…and one reason why they hate me so much is simple…i was right too many times…

I really doubt that they ‘have a plan’,even a slight one,not to talk about a plan b…

They just fall from one extreme(pve favor for the last years) into the other (current situation).

They have no ‘master plan’,they simply are desperate and do not know what they did wrong.

Reason?

Well don’t fire devs and mods that actually care and know the game only because they contradict your ‘good ideas for the game’ because they KNOW what ■■■■■■■■ you are planning to do and because of them being ‘too expensive’ and replace them by people that are ‘cheaper’ but have no clue and no connection to the game would have been a good start.

They did(do and will do i fear) so many mistakes it really hurts…

Sad part is NO ONE at CCP actually KNOWS what they did wrong…they don’t have a clue…

And that’s the major problem…all ccp does is to listen to players…COULD be a good thing if it wouldn’t be only ONE kind of players aka ‘the loudest’…

Does anyone REALLY wonders why this game only changes into ONE direction aka standard ftp crap?

CCP has NO clue about this game anymore because all good devs, devs with a vision and knowledge are simply gone, all that’s left is only able to do what we see…

Another problem are the korean masters, but this is a whole different story…

Having any plan doesnt guarantee it will work exactly as planned. A or B or C.

They cant know. They can only hope.

I personally think all of it worked initially, but will fail in long run.

I think 1 year, and the game will be around 20k players max. Maybe sooner.

No you can’t fire qualified personal just because it has own opinions and ideas…THAT was and is the main problem…competence…

That’s simply amateur like corp management…

Incompetent. I am not surprised. Hilmar is still CEO.

He and Pearl Abyss seem to get along nicely. Gready people. Will destroy game for profit.

I went through with a Velator not a big deal. BP’s don’t need big haul.
