I think you are very mistaken. Gate to gate travel in High Sec is very easy and doesn’t require the same discipline.

Join the Kybernauts, prove the direction of your flow to the Convocation of Triglav outside the struggle.
There is a lot of null in the game if u like it.

Did you see much other traffic? I noticed the routing doesn’t recognise Niarja as low/null.
First of all I have to say well done CCP in shaking the game up with the invasion content, I did not like the poor balance on Caldari NPC’s which influenced a couple of key fights, but this was Amarr and the balance of the NPC’s is not an issue. It is a very significant change indeed.
I am rather interested in how the Imperium responds, based on the fact that they are at war with their partners in the TTT and that their route from their nullsec holdings to Jita was through Niarja, the question is will we see an Imperium Keepstar dropped somewhere near Amarr? Would be fairly interesting if they did.
Because it is still high sec. it still behaves like high sec in all the important ways with the single exception of Concord response.
I think this is the most accurate hit of the nail i read so far 
I just have to remember what happend when the Trigs were attacking Citadels for the first time. Or when the Blackout happend.

Actually not YAY for returning ppl!
I’ve been semi-afk for close to 2yrs now, barely logging in the game to do stuff, but overall still being active, still paying for the game on 3 accounts.
When i login i do some stuff in hisec, do some exploration … whatever.
Just died in Niarja, knew it was trig invaded and it was practically nullsec.
Went in knowing that so i can’t complain about that, my mistake (wrecks everywhere despite being regional gate, i spawned next to 2 wrecks no way to mwd out of range and cloak in time).
But now i ask myself … wth is wrong with you CCP ?
Niarja going down means you compartimentalize regions, areas of space, add travel time … and not just for cargo but for ppl who just want to go around.
And it will be permacamped from now on, with so many wrecks, bubbles and drones that cloaks will not work.
You have made the lives of ppl who just want to play the game casual a living hell with this one.
And thus the desire to keep logged in, returning to this game, do something in this game drops.
What is wrong with you ?
Do you really want to kill off your game in the best quarter you ever had ?

That was different, they were attacking in nullsec where certain risks are expected.
And it wasn’t even that bad in the end, against the citadels i mean …
This is hisec for ppl who just started in the game or want a playstyle that opts out of the rat-race that is nullsec.

It is even worse than that, in that Drifters did not take notice of timers, the only structures that ended up being blown up were those that were already reinforced to hull and the Drifters started shooting them.
Otherwise it was exactly like hisec players have had for years with the FOB’s.
You have to adapt, you can do it, in fact it shakes things up a lot, the game had got stale and too predictable.
Though I have to admit that trying to operate around the Trigs and take them on in a conquered system is rather frustrating, but I am just getting started at this, but already I found a couple of things that have blocked me completely for the moment. Hmmmm, it is a challenge and a half.
Or sansha invasions in belts … god knows i’ve had to explain to ppl countless times in eve-uni and help why you should avoid those belts.

I am adapting, but for ppl like me adapting means becoming even less active over time and to stop paying for things.
In my particular case, it means i will have to budget my time more carefully … do i take a huge bet that exploration is good in that space and if i make a mistake i’m stuck there for a while … or do i go play something else.
Because before this happened i could move much easier between regions, but if they plan to keep doing this i will be stuck with a certain type of space, all the avenues of export/import will be troublesome and will require me to invest a lot of time into doing boring stuff … which i just don’t have the energy anymore as a filthy casual.
I honestly have no idea if i will adapt or not or how i will adapt (i probably will) … but i am still shocked at … wth were they thinking ?

They see your ship thru cloak. They come for you right from the moment you move.
Ever encountered maybe fleet composed mainly of Zorya’s? How about few Anchoring Damaviks on top.
I am surprised more people didnt yet realised what kind of circus it became, and how much you will have to pay for the pleasure to be shoot out of the cannon into a pile of dung.

It is indeed a difficult balance for CCP. I understand where you are coming from, still at the end of the day bringing challenge back to Eve is a good thing. The nullsec involvement in hisec was rah rah rah burn Jita burn Jita two days of we smashed you then back to snoring again, oh and buy our stuff from TTT or we cry again. Kinda funny…
I have instaundocks in their systems, where i was active.
Basically the moment you initiate warp they know where your landing point will be.
They won’t see through cloak, but they will know you had to land there.
I think I can safely say I have a fair amount of experience with Trigs now, what I am really getting into at the moment is their behaviour in conquered systems.
You have to do an off grid instra undock which is painful.
That thing was nice and edgy 9-10yrs ago …
Seriously … James’ bumpageddon and suicide ganking started a nice trend and it was interesting to find those hulks with expensive stuff.
Today it’s a bunch of ppl who do a cookie-cutter event to feel special, prepackaged exclusivity, quite the oxymoron.

It works with ongrid if you have cov ops cloak.
Or it worked 1 week ago when i last got out of a station with a Werpost and fleet outside.
