No way, peeps will just leave and dont take part in this. Nothing really keeps peeps now in high, the things they loved will be gone very soon. They will just leave and you can love each other as you like.
This remind me on Thera.
You know this system? The one that was praised/intened as the “new” Jita? A wormwole with a NPC station, with many wormholes open all the time, easy to access from all locations?
I tried to buy something from Thera. The market is nearly dead (or was, when i was there).
IF Jita would ever become an invasion target, and IF it would fall into low sec, i will bet that whole EVE will be “Thera” after this day.
You may hate, love or just accept Jita the way it is. But in no doubt it is important for the EVE economy. Way more than Yulai was at the time it was shut down by CCP.
I really doubt that this will happen (invasion in Jita). But i would love to see it.
I would love to see the fights for the system, and if enough would fight for it, run for it (and take their assets out of Jita) or just quit (and cause the biggest crash of player numbers ever).
76% of the whole trade value from the April report was in Forge. And i bet over 90% of this was from Jita.
Over 27% of all produced items were from Forge. And again, i bet that 90% were in and around Jita.
All the material might not went through Niarja. But when i see that Domain has a Trade Balance of -481 million m³, i bet that quite a bit of this went to Jita.
And the second highest trade value is Domain. Domain and Forge together have 83% of the whole trade value. And i would bet, that most were from trades between these two regions.
Cutting of the fastest way between these two systems, could cause a collapse in the trade between these two systems.
Don’t get me wrong. I am not hauler, and i don’t trade anywhere in the amount that is important. I really do not care if this system will go down. I would even say that it would not affect me at all (at least not directly).
But i am realistic enough to see what problems this could cause.
Sadly some are to blind to see a tree coming toward their car. They just notice it when it enters the cab.
They just want the laugh for now, and want to make it harder for others (or even want to force their play style to be the play style for everyone), no matter what it means in the long run.
Today Niarja, tomorrow Jita, the day after Ghosttown. I might be right or wrong about this prediction. it does not matter. And i do not care if anyone agree or understand it. This is what i think about it.
People will find a way, sure it might be inconvenient, but the game evolves. Heck I was hauling though the system last night during the invasion. There are other ways to do things, people will learn.
The recent market changes makes it even more imperative for people to consolidate all of their trade in a single location.
Trig invasions are a test.
A test for those who love Eve enough as it is to defend it.
And those who don’t care / or will adapt no matter what happens.
You know the high sec highways haven’t always existed right?
If this is enough to drive people away from the game I dunno what to tell you man. So long and thanks for all the fish.
This is all melodramatic hyperbole.
If you wanna stop playing nobody is gonna stop you.
No people will just use the other trade hubs and Perimeter will stand in for Jita.
Thanks for proving my point. Think about those numbers a little bit.
Ummm, its more like CCP with Pearl Abyss puts more in it and expects people will deal with it all.
if you want tough love, cut null off from jita. you’ve been using training wheels way too long
Only more chaos, more systems being empty. I probably will not visit Amarr regions any more…
Niarja being conquered by Trig forces = opportunity.
I wonder if AG will help the trigs. But from what I’m seeing. the sun is setting on CODE. already.
Still, if the trigs win, I’ll be…
What an odd viewpoint. CCP likes CODE. so much that they created an entirely new NPC group, just to do more highsec ganking. You thought Niarja was camped before? The Triglavian God Guns are way more effective than a multiboxed Talos fleet.
While funny for a day or so, they’ll just move and continue being a problem. They are a cancer, and they’ll metastasize to the routes near amarr
Indeed i like how ag are getting all excited about Agent Raznaborg “taking” niarja away from CODE. completely missing the implication that they consider niarja (and by extension all of highsec) is in fact our property. Which it is of course but nice to see our opponents acknowledging it publicly
There is no such thing as neutral.
I don’t really want to get into a semantic quibble here, but it should be obvious that the highsec miners are the cancer. The Code is the scalpel.
So how come there’s a word for it?
Checkmate, agnostics
oh ms @Destiny_Corrupted you are so naive
thats why i like you
no one goes to dodixie , its a ■■■■ hole
Of course there is a word. And a concept. But does it apply in Eve after the changes to the Edencom / Triglavian standings?
I still have characters white to both vOv
