we need you back lucas
You mean less productive for a given time investment. And why shouldnât they complain if there are changes that make it less productive? Itâs a menial task, making it pay less makes it even more menial.
CCP added high sec invasions to make it âmore interestingâ by your definition, and now itâs less productive. To make it more interesting and appealing, the yields should be increased, so people donât have to spend as much time doing it.
No, I mean more challenging and interesting. With Niarja gone now you have a choice of dangerous routes that are shorter, if youâre brave enough to use them. Smart and ambitious haulers engage with more interesting content and win, lazy and/or stupid haulers autopilot the long way because theyâre terrified of leaving highsec and pay the price in ISK/hour.
CCP added high sec invasions to make it âmore interestingâ by your definition, and now itâs less productive.
Less productive, but more interesting. And the drop in productivity is most significant for the least-competent players.
To make it more interesting and appealing, the yields should be increased, so people donât have to spend as much time doing it.
Nonsense. Making menial content pay better doesnât make it any less menial or unappealing. And letâs be honest here, farmer trash isnât going to spend less time farming just because it pays better, itâs going to keep farming because farming is all it is capable of doing.
And then you described how itâs more time consuming, therefore less productive. So, youâre wrong.
Industrial cynos should be allowed in high sec. JF in and out of Jita, or wherever.
Foggy functions in three ways:
- Posters are fake alts
- Posters post for some weird forum reputation
- Posters make â â â â up
Just ignore.
Iâm just farming likes.
No, I described how itâs more time consuming for lazy and stupid players and more interesting for everyone else.
Who the â â â â are you to decide what is âun-desirable play stylesâ?
I am God. And I have declared that it is so.
Also, Iâm a person who understands basic game design and what EVE is supposed to be, and can recognize when a play style contradicts that design concept.
The thing I like about null politics in null space is that its controlled by players.
I blocked Merin, without any doubt the worst poster on the forums.
People are reporting that the Amarr market is crashing. Not sure what they mean by that. I will go and have a look a bit later, perhaps a lack of stock or people putting at low prices.
I was hoping that Amarr would develop as a market in itâs own right, will have to see what happens, it looks like more Caldari space is being lost so that could also change the balance in time.
Calling this is difficult, but it is still very early days.
No, it doesnât. Payment has nothing to do with a task being menial or not.
Itâs all about your perception if itâs worth it.
You should read what you write.
You complain about something extremely easy and boring not paying enough.
CCP slowed down the economy as a whole. Thatâs not because of invasions, but because scarcity requires a slower economy. We need scarcity, because it promotes conflict (aka fighting for resources, etc), while too much wealth (as we had it) promotes stagnation.
Invasions+Scarcity = a more interesting game for those seek satisfaction from accomplishing something actually meaningful.
Quadrant 3 is named Zenith, so its peak Trig activity time. But I think itâs a Sleeper/Drifter who narrates the vid. So come next Quadrant they sending Trigs back into Abyss. This will address the irreversability of system security flipping.
Well if the Trigs are driven out by Sleepers or Drifters, then weâve only got them to worry aboutâŚ
Out of the frying pan into the fire.
@Merin_Ryskin
Congrats for winning the award!
Just making a little point, we donât know how this event is going to end. Looking at the trailers for Q2 and 3 it seems to hint at liminal systems becoming gateways, so talk will be redundunt later in the year
But itâs a game, so it can never be actually meaningful.
