The company’s called CCP"Games" not CCP"Eve" (even though the other games are riding on the Eve branding).

In my personal opinion of playing eve since pretty much late 2005. The last 5 years ccp has made a lot of promises and most of them were unfulfilled. I love your idea of pushing ccp to do better with contests and new content but the fact remains that ccp can promis whatever they like coming this fanfest. It doesnt mean they will deliver it.
This is why there is so much push back on their current response of “just wait till fanfest” even the SoundCloud recording posted that was almost literally the only response given by ccp. So to iterate it simply for the brain dead devs of this game, why the actual fck should i “wait till fanfest” when there is 0 track record of you delivering anything that you have promised in the years past fanfest.

This is just a small fraction of what ccp has announced at fanfest and not one on this list was ever fully completed. And this isnt even the entire list, you can read the footnotes for older fanfests and have a good laugh at what was said would be in eve online and what actually made it into eve online. CCP should be embarrassed

Not all players have favorable exchange rates, or alot of disposable income. Some people are struggling, and Eve is their way to drown out the noise of a tough RL and have space fun with other internet nerds.

People should have some entertainment. Us in developed countries, or blessed with better outcomes shouldn’t dump on others because they are still tryin to make it.

So perhaps they need to spend more time outside of luxury game services and fix that?
They can use the FREE tier, and special offers when they appear, and stack PLEX.
Perhaps look also at a currency account and convert when favourable rates and then pay in that currency if you have to exchange. Blame Nixon and his handlers for your floating currency back in 1971.

Completely agree. This also applies for ccp. I dont remember paying extra to subsidize the ever increasing loss of russian subscriptions ever being mine or the rest of eve’s responsibility. And yes this is another weak excuse for the price increase. 20 bucks per month plus paying for 6 months at a time to get 15 per month as well as all the sales and promotions are all things that will keep someone from ever actually hitting a 20$ sub wall. But CCP have done nothing to earn having the most expensive mmo on the market

Perhaps this game needs more content suitable for PEGI 12 customers.
Ok, if you wanna increase prices is ok , it’s not like some people live in a 3rd world country and can’t afford that OH and we are in the middle of a WORLD CRISIS, but it’s ok. At least add a basic omega subscription like Eve Echos does to allow people screw economically to keep playing the game instead of kick the out … or don’t do anything like always

Not sure why we should waste time and effort caring about people who are determined to quit. That effort is better focused on existing and new players.
They complain about not able to afford it, then refuse to play for free.
They complain about the high price, then refuse to accept special offers on discount that come up.

I don’t want to leave the game i am a current player i will pay for the omega until i can’t once reached that point i gonna move to something else like eve echoes for example
