Maybe if they need more money they can make Alpha accounts €9,99 per month at 50mil SP with a free Catalyst every week and lower Omega to €16,99 with also a free omega ship like Hecate or other.
That is good middle ground, no?
Ideally we will all and i mean all not re sub , then for once we will have CCP by the balls instead of the other way round , time to say enough is enough

One could proffer that the OP is demonstrating the fallacy of the sunk cost fallacy[1]. (OP, I’m not denigrating you btw).
ISTM that the sunk cost fallacy may have been in certain minds when deciding upon the viability and playerbase acceptance of sub increases, particularly for short-term subs.
Small point DM: Some countries have previously seen price increases in sub fees - and in the not too distant past. CCP’s claim that “..This adjustment reflects global trends impacting general production costs and accounts for years of inflation, amending the 1-month USD subscription rate for the first time since 2004.” does not stand up to scrutiny everywhere.

You must be mental considering we have had no new content for years, infact the opposite, removed our isk making content, and now want to bleed us even more at a time where prices are rising worldwide and people are having to cut back on things, you expect them to pull an extra $5 per account out of their rear? Good Luck, My 3 subs are cancelled.
Also, post prices in £ and €.

Sound like you want to justify price rises by promising content that will never be delivered. We haven’t seen a decent roadmap in a long time so I doubt you will provide one now, and not one that support this price increase.
In a time when countries have record inflation for decades and a global energy crisis causing the cost of energy to rise significantly, this is a really bad time to do this. Trust me, when household have to start making cutbacks I can assure you that luxury entertainment will be the first on my list.

CCP, you really should work on your timing. There is a land war in Europe, half of China is locked down for COVID, the price for my gasoline and food is almost exactly TWICE what it was a year ago. This is not a great environment for your customers to swallow a 25% price increase on their entertainment.

Well as i’ve said earlier in this I’m older and dealing with a couple medical issues this has been my out… But just getting thru kidney cancer surgery every 3 months and a triple bypass… My meds are gonna take precedence over this game i’m sure i can find something to do with the extra 10 hours a day i spent here. Yes it will be hard lol as most of us are addicted to the game…

I fear this may be the end of the game as we know it. The games already blocked, few people play and it’s noticeable when you travel through 3 regions of null and see no one undocked. I’ve never been one for the “eve is dead / dying” but I fear this is gonna drive so many people away

It is going up for sure, CCP did not bother to post exact number, but it’s most likely going to be 15.99 a month and less for longer subs.
Dear CCP,
If you are trying to kill your game please just come out and tell us so I may use my money on better things.

$28 AUD for a sub is a bit much for me. Only because I have so many alts.
Maybe something super amazing will be announced at fanfest. But I dunno.

Isn’t the real issue that our governments all around the world are failing? We have like record inflation numbers (at least in europe) so it’s just clear that at some point the price for this service will rise, too.

Plan, show roadmap, and fund it through Kickstarter!

Any one else having issues unsubbing their accounts? it wont let me unsub my accounts now. Maybe the servers are getting bogged down by unsubscriptions?
